Facts of ACGCET

To get admission to our college, you should apply for TNEA counselling conducted by Anna University. The seats will be allocated based on your general rank and community rank basis. There are 5 departments in our college.

Our college is autonomous. So they make their own college. But it is similar to the Anna university syllabus. The faculty members will teach the subjects and say what are the materials used to study. Most of the faculty are ME and PhD holders. They have lots of knowledge. If you want to gain knowledge, you have to go and seek the knowledge from them.

Since our college was established in the 1960s, Most of the alumni of our college are now working in many multinational companies around the world. They provide opportunities for the students to get internships in their company. For the 2022-2023 academic year, a Total of 10 students from ece and eee departments went to 1 month internship in the Overhaul Division of HAL Bangalore.

The popular It companies like Zoho, Gofrugal, Wipro, whiteblue, and HCL come to recruit students every year. The core companies like Saint Globin, TVS, mistral Solution, Bosch, and L&T also come to recruit students every year. And also many startup companies also come to recruit students

Since our college is a government college, fees per year are within 8000 only. For first graduates and for physically challenged people, the fees will be around 5000 to 6000 only. Apart from this, the post-matric scholarship of Tamilnadu is provided to all eligible students whose parent's income should be less than 2.5 lac per year.

There are three main social clubs namely the Freshers Club, Rotary Club and Leo Club in our college. There are technical clubs also namely the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and the IST club. To develop the cultural of Tamil, there is one special club named Muthamizil mandram. These clubs will conduct events according to their schedule.
