Entrance Preview
For getting into this college, one needs to appear for JEE. And should take their boards seriously, as it comes under ACPC wherein 60% of JEE marks and 40% of boards in taken into consideration for the ranks. On the basis of which you get your stream. It is basically based on one's merit. I chose CE engineering, as it is something that interests me.
Course Curriculum Overview
CE is the topmost field in engineering at this point of time. As this branch has alot of scope I chose it, and it was something that interested me the most. There are lab sessions held regularly for practical knowledge, also industrial visits and workshops are held on a regular basis.
Internships Opportunities
The college encourages on taking up internships, as it is a medium of Practical learning and experience. Students prefer off campus internships. The stipend amount lies form 2-4k per month.
Placement Experience
The scenario of Placements right now is a little weak, but it is improving year after year. Some companies do visit the campus. And recruit about 10% students. These are basically IT companies with avg.package of 2-3lpa.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees per semester is about 87000/- which is a little high. Apart from the tuition fees, the hostel fees is 12000/- per year. And mess charges is 9000/- per semester.
Faculty
The Faculties are quite experienced. The CE faculties are highly qualified, and learning from them is a whole new experience. They make subjects easy and give as much practical knowledge as possible.
