This is an amazing place to be in. The college is full of extracurricular activities and has an excellent academic environment. The teacher-student relations are friendly. The college is very strict on academic rules and regulations, and hence holds a prestigious place in the academic excellence category of Indian architecture colleges.
Entrance Preview
The major basis for admission at CEPT will be the performance at the admission tests conducted at Ahmedabad only. The admissions shall be carried out by respective State Government/Competent Authority/Association of Architectural Institutions in the State, based on the valid NATA score and marks secured in the qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is vast and elaborate and focuses more on planning and practical work only. Seldom are we taught through books. it is only by models and sheets do we learn.
Internships Opportunities
the college doesnt provide internships but helps in seeking one. also, firms readily agree in giving internships knowing that we belong to this institution. stipend varies from 5-10k per month sometimes more. 2 semesters of internship is compulsory.
Placement Experience
CEPT like all years had already arranged a proper placements and pre placement drill and jury. The student's council has been pushing the management for the placements for very long time to get more better companies, and so this year companies with better edge also participated in it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of CEPT might seem unaffordable to some thus, education loans are always available. it is around 1,25,000 per semester. and a lump sum 25000/- which is non-refundable.
Faculty
One of the main reason for CEPT to be one of the best colleges for architecture is its well-experienced faculty members. Most of the visiting faculty members are CEPT-pass outs, and they work in the reputed firms, or they own them. Since they are working in the national capital region, they have a lot of exposure and experience with which they help the students better. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1.
