Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

course curriculum of my college was amazing. Delhi University is among the top Universities in northern India. Delhi University colleges are best in studies. It is very difficult to get to north campus of Delhi University. The graduation course was for 3 years. economics, maths, accounts, English etc are various subjects in the college.

Internships Opportunities

Colleges tend to provide internships to the students. The general stipend depends upon the student's caliber and knowledge. An average stipend of the student is at least 5000. The overall experience is good.

Placement Experience

3

Placements and job opportunities are okay. You have to be very studious and smart to bag a college placement in Delhi University. It's not an easy job to get a placement from college. Placement is okay of Delhi University but the value of the degree is very much. only two companies came in my final year.

College Events

4.5

Since Delhi university has students from the different culture, backgrounds, and religion the university celebrates all the festivals in the calendar year. The college has summer break, autumn break, and winter break.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my college is very feasible. A student can pay the fees through his own pocket money. The college is funded by the government. That is why the college fees are very low.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college awards scholarships to the deserving and needful students. The funding of these scholarships is from contributions made by the governing body, existing and former faculty members and college alumni. The college encourages outstanding students by giving awards and scholarships twice in a year. Special functions are organized by Student’s Welfare Committee and at the Annual Prize Distribution Function Committee. The Students Welfare Committee of the college aims at providing financial assistance and improving the academic standards of the needy and deserving students by promoting the meritorious amongst them. Every year nearly 200 students are selected for Merit Cum Means and Means based scholarships. The Special Awards and Scholarships are distributed by the College at another function celebrated as College Annual Day every year. In the year 2014-15, College has instituted about seventy awards and scholarships for excellence in academics, sports, and extra-curricular activities through the benevolence of the civil society of the college. This year 72 college toppers in various streams were awarded Academics prize and 4 Special Prizes were given to Divinity Students. Special Awards were distributed to Sports students on Sports Prize Distribution Function. Besides these, 264 students in extra-curricular activities were also awarded on a special function.

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, a constituent college of the University of Delhi, was established in 1951 and is maintained by Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC), a statutory body established under an act of the Parliament of India. Hostel Facilities

3.5

There is boys hostel and girls hostel. The hostel is very cheap. Since, the college is funded by the government the facilities are very cheap. The food is amazing and very cheap. there is veg and non-veg both types of food available food quality and the standard are good.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, there are many comments on the alumni network. They are very helpful as they tell the brief view of the college. They share their true experience with us through those comments.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is very common like other colleges over here. In three years there are 6 semesters. With these 6 semesters, there are internal exams which you have to clear and there are regular assessments.

Admission

I was selected for excellence in sports. I cleared the common sports trial which helped me to get inside the college. I didn't give any entrance exam to get in the particular college. every sport has certain seats in the college. You have to get at least 50% percent marks in the boards to be eligible for the trial.

Faculty

4.5

The college faculty was amazing. They are always in support of the students and treat students as there own child. Mostly Sikh teachers are there in the college. The college atmosphere is very humble because of the teachers.
