I didn't give any entrance exam to get in the particular college. I was selected through sports quota.I was selected for excellence in sports. I cleared the common sports trial which helped me to get inside the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
course curriculum of my college was amazing. Delhi University is among the top Universities in northern India. Delhi University colleges are best in studies. It is very difficult to get to north campus of Delhi University. The graduation course was for 3 years. economics, maths, accounts, English etc are various subjects in the college.
Internships Opportunities
Colleges tend to provide internships to the students. The general stipend depends upon the student's caliber and knowledge. An average stipend of the student is at least 5000. The overall experience is good.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are okay. You have to be very studious and smart to bag a college placement in Delhi University. It's not an easy job to get a placement from college. Placement is okay of Delhi University but the value of the degree is very much. only two companies came in my final year.
College Events
Since Delhi university has students from the different culture, backgrounds, and religion the university celebrates all the festivals in the calendar year. The college has summer break, autumn break, and winter break.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of my college is very feasible. A student can pay the fees through his own pocket money. The college is funded by the government. That is why the college fees are very low.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college awards scholarships to the deserving and needful students. The funding of these scholarships is from contributions made by the governing body, existing and former faculty members and college alumni. The college encourages outstanding students by giving awards and scholarships twice in a year. Special functions are organized by Student’s Welfare Committee and at the Annual Prize Distribution Function Committee. The Students Welfare Committee of the college aims at providing financial assistance and improving the academic standards of the needy and deserving students by promoting the meritorious amongst them. Every year nearly 200 students are selected for Merit Cum Means and Means based scholarships. The Special Awards and Scholarships are distributed by the College at another function celebrated as College Annual Day every year. In the year 2014-15, College has instituted about seventy awards and scholarships for excellence in academics, sports, and extra-curricular activities through the benevolence of the civil society of the college. This year 72 college toppers in various streams were awarded Academics prize and 4 Special Prizes were given to Divinity Students. Special Awards were distributed to Sports students on Sports Prize Distribution Function. Besides these, 264 students in extra-curricular activities were also awarded on a special function.
Campus Life
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, a constituent college of the University of Delhi, was established in 1951 and is maintained by Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC), a statutory body established under an act of the Parliament of India. The focus of the College at the time of inception was to ensure a comprehensive social transformation through access to quality education, in particular to young Punjabi Refugees of Partition in 1947, and to conserve and promote Punjabi language, culture, and heritage. The College is named after Ninth Guru - Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur, who sacrificed his life to uphold secular values, and is an institution with the cosmopolitan environment and progressive outlook. Over the years, the College has carved a niche for itself and is known to be one of the leading colleges of University. At present, there are 18 undergraduate programmes, 2 B.Tech. programmes, 12 postgraduate programmes, one postgraduate diploma, 2 undergraduate diplomas, and 9 certificate courses, making a total of 44 programmes. During the current session 2015-16 there are 3,768 students in these programmes, and 140 full-time teachers, out of which 101 are permanent with 7 on leave/lien. During last four years, 57 teachers participated in various staff-development programmes. The College has 59 classrooms, 19 well-equipped labs, 6 research labs, excellent indoor and outdoor sports facilities, gymnasium, cafeteria, bank, and medical facilities in very close proximity, besides other utility services such as post-office and market. The College is well connected by road and Delhi Metro link, and majority students are day-scholars. A Hostel for Girls can accommodate 147 inmates, and a Hostel for Boys is planned to come up soon. College has been growing at a rapid pace since last few years. In the next session, five new courses will be started, consequent to the official communication by the University, regarding grant of the approval for the same. Keeping this in view, and the future expansion, the College has prepared a new Masterplan for expansion which shall include state-of-the-art new academic building, residences, parking, utility and common areas housed in multi-storied complex. As and when the necessary approvals are obtained, and the funds are available, this new project shall commence immediately. The College follows University of Delhi curricula and its faculty members contribute to curricula framing both at University and UGC levels. The norms of University for admission to various courses are followed and the student-profile of the College is diverse, with most sections of the society well-represented. The teaching-learning process is enriched and made productive by rich experience of teachers and availability of up-to-date resources to students. The process is monitored by Departmental Monitoring as well as by Academic Affairs Committee of the College and the Principal, to make it achieve the learning objectives of the programmes and provide best motivation and experience to learners. The College follows University norms for Semester-end examination and evaluation as well as for internal assessment/continued evaluation, but also enriches these for local adaptations as required, by the effort and participation of teachers and students. The present College faculty is very active in research and knowledge creation, with a gross publication count of 1,353 out of which 834 are in indexed journals, 734 listed in various databases; 4 monographs, 60 books edited, 224 chapters contributed to books, with 264 of these books having ISBN numbers and published by leading publishers, and an aggregate known citation count of 3,987. Per-capita publication for faculty members comes to 9.66. Faculty has undertaken a total of 61 individual/group research projects, and another 39 with participation of students, funded by agencies like NSF, IAEA, CSIR, DST, DBT, UGC, ICSSR, University of Delhi, and so on, with an aggregate funding of well over Rs.18 Crore. These contributions in research and innovation have been recognized and awarded multiple times. There were a total of 16 major community outreach programmes and several others in service under NSS/NCC in last four years with partnership/collaborations of various governmental and non-governmental agencies in diverse areas, with a large student participation in each. Overall 146 eminent personalities visited the College in last four years for various programmes like Seminars/Workshops/Special-lectures and so on. The infrastructure of the College is one of the best in the University with air-conditioned classrooms with projection facilities and Internet, campus-wide wired as well as wireless network having Internet connectivity, a rich ICT enabled library with air-conditioned reading-room and access to online resources of IUC as well as INFLIBNET, two cafeterias, indoor and outdoor sports facilities for 19 sports, state of the art gymnasium, career-counseling and pl
Hostel Facilities
There is boys hostel and girls hostel. The hostel is very cheap. Since, the college is funded by the government the facilities are very cheap. The food is amazing and very cheap. there is veg and non-veg both types of food available food quality and the standard are good.

Yes, there are many comments on the alumni network. They are very helpful as they tell the brief view of the college. They share their true experience with us through those comments.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is very common like other colleges over here. In three years there are 6 semesters. With these 6 semesters, there are internal exams which you have to clear and there are regular assessments.
Admission
I was selected for excellence in sports. I cleared the common sports trial which helped me to get inside the college. I didn't give any entrance exam to get in the particular college. every sport has certain seats in the college. You have to get at least 50% percent marks in the boards to be eligible for the trial.
Faculty
The college faculty was amazing. They are always in support of the students and treat students as there own child. Mostly Sikh teachers are there in the college. The college atmosphere is very humble because of the teachers.
