Course Curriculum Overview

Its according to Mumbai University which is decade old syllabus. Mumbai university should change the course structure according to current advancements. Internship period should be increased from 2 to 3 months to gain indepth knowledge. More academic projects should be encouraged

Internships Opportunities

Yes internship provided specialization wise. In the month of January internship interview will start and complete before april. Students can get internship on their own efforts also

I got placed in Groupm- a multinational media company with a decent package.Companies from different sectors participate in campus and students are given 5 opportunities.campus placement starts in the month of december and continues till June.Placement head Mr AJI JOHN is putting 200 percent effort to get the students placed

College Events

Ifest - a two-day intercollegiate festival. activities included Mono Acting, Stand Up Comedy, T-Shirt Painting, Mehandi, Nail Art, Tattoo, Face Painting, Charcoal Sketching, Poster Making, Admad, Stocks and Financial Games. The event also included Counter Strike, Management games like Business Plan, Spin a Yarn, Debate, PPT Presentation, Brand Dumb Charades and Biz Quiz.

For 2 years fees is around 3.10 Lacs which is feasible considering the location and brand value of the college. College is easily accessible from both sanpada and juinagar stations which makes students from far places like Kalyan, dombivli and andheri join here

Student from different state and religion are studying here. I came from tamilnadu to navimumbai to join this college. we had a mixture of students from south, west and north states.Though its a orthodox community college all students are treated equally

Hostel facilites are excellent in IIBM. 2 Sharing room with washing machine, water cooler,attached bathroom and wifi. Daily room cleaning will be done . very safe and clean place to study and enjoy college life.Mess facility is available for hostellers

Alumni meeting was conducted every year to create network and connections. Had a nice bonding with senior students and alumni

Exam Structure

Exams were conducted at the end of semester. one day gap was given for tough subjects and one week study leave was provided for every semester. Its a chilled out structure only. Nothing hectic in exam structure.Ample time was given before exam for preparation

Admission

Got a call from admission head and briefed about college academic and placement records. So I applied online form and visited college personally and completed admission process on same day. Admin department was very supportive and helpful to every student

Faculty

All the visiting faculties are from multinational companies with decades of experience. Many are also teaching in reputed institutes like JBIMS, Wellingkar and SIES. we had in house faculty who is an IIM - Ahmedabad graduate. Faculties are supportive.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top.
