A review about computer science department of imsec!!

Choose this college only if you are restricted to get admitted in any private college of AKTU. It is not too good not too bad.

I got admitted in this institute throungh UPSEE which is conducted every year.This college offers admission till a general rank of about 30-40k. It also offers a direct admission to student based on their 10+2 records and few entrance tests. Choose this college only if you are restricted to taking admission in a private institute of uptu.

The computer science department is better as compared to other branches in academics ,faculty as well as placements.There is no industry exposure,just a bookish knowledge. The classes are taken on white board as well as through presentations also. Mechanical branch is also good as they really work on site based projects and heavy machinery. The course is totally restricted to outdated syllabus of uptu which is just related to some bookish knowledge.But the HOD is always trying to make some improvement in syllabus by introducing courses in machine learning and artificial intelligence.

no,college does not provide any intenships, but for summer vacations it organises some training courses for cs students from some good companies but they charge you for it.

Placements are average and this college is no more accredited with TCS. Mostly, students are placed through pool campus placements. The average salary is around 3.3 LPA. Last year, Ericsson took many students from our college. Other companies too visited the campus quite often and recruited a handful of students. So, frankly speaking. you cannot completely depend on this college for placements. Many companies visit but they hire only handful of students having some exceptional talent.

not many events are organised. Diwali nights is conducted just before diwali. Vibgyor is conducted in march which consists of many events to participate. Techfest is also conducted which showcases the technical knowledge of students in the form of models and projects.

fee structure is as set by uptu. they take too much extra charges which adds total academic fees to be 1,10,1000 per year but it keeps increasing every year.So it is not affordable by all. fees structure includes many charges which turn out to be a waste at the end of the year.

There is no such scholarship or loan offered by the college in my knowledge.They do help out in filling scholarships offered by the government every year.

This college is confined to a 10-acre campus with the facility of boys' and girls' hostels. The campus has a field which consists of a basketball court, a volleyball court, cricket, etc. There are A B and C blocks for classrooms. The classrooms for the first year are air-conditioned but no such facility for the second, third or fourth year. Wi-Fi facilities are available and satisfactory.Labs are also well-constructed and air-conditioned. The canteen food is average and affordable.Boys to girls ratio is around 4:1.There is gender equality.

Hostel facilities are average. hostel is available for both boys as well as girls.They offer two seater as well as three seater rooms(with or without AC).Mess food is average.They do provide variety.Hostel fees is around 80000.You cannot expect more at this cost.Hostels are secure.

The seniors are sincere and helpful.They will try to help you in every possible way.Alumni network is also good.Aluminis are settled in reputed companies and visit the college quite often for seminars.

To take admission ,you need to reach the institute on the date as mentioned on allotment letter provided by uptu after the allotment of the college. The administration will guide you for furthur processes and you need to waste a lot of time in admission process. You also need to pay a certain amount of college fees on the day of admission in order to book you seat that too through Demand Draft.

Faculty members here are very friendly and will always help you to achieve our goals and aspirations in direction of technical knowledge and information. Most of them are holding a master's degree and senior faculty members are PhD holders like our HODs and the director. The course is provided by the syllabus of AKTU for our betterment. Classes are taken on the board and illustrated with the help of a projector in the class and for presentations also.
