My college experience

In short I want to tell you that if you want to take admission in a college where you can grow yourself , you should take admission in this college.

I gave JEE examination as entrance exam because it is only way you can get admission and i had scored 30 marks in that exam. I was finding for a college where I can grow my knowledge so I had choosen this college.

Our college's course structure is mainly depending on GTU. And in this college you will get mostly the theoretical knowledge, this college is having all the equipments required for lab and workshop but due to lack of space we can not perform all the experiments.

No, Our college is not providing any internship, you have to find it on your own. If you find any firm, college will issue the NOC to go to that company, but if you can't find any companies you can go to management and they will provide you internship.

The placements in our college are good but our Mechanical engineering branch. It is around 60% only. But due to continuous efforts and powerful strategies we are hoping that the placement will surely increase in a couple of years. The average salary is around 3 to 3.5 lakhs per annum. The companies like Adani, L&T, Coca-Cola etc., visited our college.

The college organises tech fest in a year so that the students can take participation and the winners are getting prizes, and remaining participants are getting a certificate which is helpful for them to score points. Our college also organising cultural festival basically in GMDC convection hall ,once a year. A sport week is also organized every year.The celebrities also come to the college due to which a huge crowd can be seen.

INR 63,000/- is the course fee per year. Scholarships are available on the basis of marks and rank in the GUJCET exam. So it varies person to person. However, there are a few students who take the loan for education. The banks that provide the loans are HDFC, AXIS, PNB, and ORIENT. And if you have good score in 10th and 12th you can also get MYSY scholarship.

Our college is not providing any scholarships or loan but if you get admission through ACPC in TFW quota you do not have to pay any fees.

There is no diversity regarding religion, politics and economic status. Our campus life is very good but only thing which I personally don't like is campus is very small and only one ground is there which is used as parking nowadays. College is also having a student section department of AMERICAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS(ASME). The main centre of student section ASME Gujarat is in our college. We also have many technical clubs one of them is indian rosewood club which makes ATVs and takes part in SAE baha competition and comes first in Gujarat from last 2-3 years.

There is no hostel facilities available in the campus but near the main gate of college a hostel is there whose fees are around 83000/- per annum and food quality is average. You can also stay in PGs having monthly rent about 5000-7000/- in which your can get food, laundry, tv, wifi, lights,fans , fridge etc.

alumni network is quite great. They have international linkages to other colleges and other companies for the placement. On the usual basis companies like Adani, Reliance, Tata Motors and etc provides the placement. And senior students are also very sincere and helpful and raging is prohibited in the campus.

In this college, we have module test every week for 3 subjects , there are also 2 mid-semester(internal exam), 1 internal viva, 1 university exam and 1 university viva. The exams and labs are very frequent leavingus with a hectic day. But from this exam structure you can score more marks in university exams.

I had got admission in this college through ACPC. For getting admission you have to apply through ACPC or you can get direct admission in Management quota and for that you can go directly to the college and apply for that. There no other methods through which you can get admission in this college.

Faculties of our college are mostly qualified from well known institutes and universities liks IITs, Nirma University, LD college of engineering etc. They are experienced and knowledgeable. They are always ready to teach you infact they can come college on Sundays if you want to study, they never says no.
