Entrance Preview

I came through Anna university counselling mode based on my 12th cutt off marks, I chooses this because this college has good experienced teachers, students output every year through campus interviews

Course Curriculum Overview

The reason why I choose this because I love physics that's why I chooses electrical, rather than that the faculties were teaching both English & Tamil for better understanding, almost all things were taught through practical means

Internships Opportunities

There is no special internship in our college, only the government offered schlorships were given and fees deduction for sc/ st students. Infosys is the only company offering internship here for sc and st students.

Placement Experience

This year 2015 maximum 6 companies came here all are IT sector companies tech mahindra-20 were placed TCS-5, COGNIZANT-6, INFOSYS-18.

College Events

The exam structure is simple and useful. Three unit tests and a model exam is conducted for each semester in between unit test special daily exam were conducted for giving importance to study.Lab is given more importance here, 3 model practicals were conducted before attending semester practicals

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is based on government announced schemes. For MBC the scholarship amount is 7950 rs for first graduate students other MBC students 4500 rs is given (I am MBC student) Bank loan facility is available in our college the loan amount depends on your bank. I am 64, 000rs loan per year

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome here our campus is free from gender ratio, religion politics and economic status. Parties are not allowed in hostel. No importance were given to extracurricular activities here

Hostel Facilities

As I am a day scholar, I don't know much about hostel. Based on my friends narration I am writing here. Hostel rooms is sufficient enough for 3 members no water problem no current problem (having emergency generator) food is mostly vegeterian, only Sunday

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Ragging is strictly probihited in our campus. Senior students will treat juniors like their brothers (I have treated like that only). Every aluminium meet so many seniors will come they will teach us their experience in their working company

Exam Structure

The only thing here I don't like is the amount of fees collected here, it is more expensive. per students they are collecting about 1,50,000 rupees if you came through counselling it is much higher when compared to other colleges. TUTION FEE-80,000, HOSTE

Students through councling receives great offers in fees structure and for toppers having 190 +cutoffs get more offers like 50000 off over all fees will be 6-7lakhs for 4 years ,and moreover the fees was increasing year by year for the demand of this course and for management students the the donation for the courses is varies for example for cse course the donation will be 4lakhs and fees will be 3.8lakhs for other courses the fes structure will be varied the best part of this college is the food on a week only Friday we will have veg and for all other days we will have nonbeg

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Life in Tagore

I applied for Shiv Nadar University, I wrote my exams but the fee was not affordable and it was long distance. But Tagore was affordable and its under Anna University so it's quite good when compared to others with all facilities. I was rejected since I applied it by last minute so there wasn't enough seats available. Direct admission process, the eligibility is 12th Std result.
