Likes

The campus life is quite beautiful and happy.
The college will be for 1/2 day so after that we can do part time to.

Dislikes

Still some of the calsses should be renovated.
And some of the department doesn't have class.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members are very nice and they made me a better person for who I am now. The faculties are good and teach everyone very nicely. The practicals will be the best class. The teacher-student ratio will be 6 to 30. Most of the faculties completed their Ph.D.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year you'll receive a scholarship. The cost of studying here is very affordable, especially for people who have poor backgrounds. The scholarship will be 2000 a year. It varies for each student depending upon their caste.

Campus Life

Each every you'll be having cultural, onam celebration Pongal celebration and many more. The college is now building new blocks and the classrooms will be nice. The sports day will be the best in all the fest. Every year rangoli festival and competition will be conducted. The library will be there for each department and there is also a common library where we can access all kinds of journals and books.

Admission

Government Arts College, Ooty is one the famous colleges in Ooty. The admission during 2017 was simple because we have to take admission from college and they'll call you for counseling. Now the forms are available online.

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is a famous one and it is studied by many higher officials. The faculty is very good and talented, students ratio is 500:900. Budget Friendly Graduation
