the best learning experience

It is a very good college and I loved my experience here. The faculty uses innovative and new ways to train the students.

There is no requirement of an entrance exam such as CAT, BITSAT or IITJEE. I just had to go through an online examination conducted by the college. I scored pretty well and was informed that I had been shortlisted by the college. I was recommended that I join this college by my very close friend whose sister was a student in the same institute.

The structure of the course is very good with well-defined syllabus provided to us. It's is a 3-year course which is divided into 6 semesters. In the 2nd year, students are expected to go through a 20 week industrial training, which has to be done in all the 4 core areas of hotel management.

Yes, the college does provide us with internship opportunities. A 20-week industrial training is a mandatory part of the curriculum. I had done my internship in Taj and had a great experience.

There are a number of good companies that provide placements to us. Some of the reputed hotels that come for the placements are:- P&O Cruises, Australia; MSC Cruises, Switzerland; Costa Cruises, Italy; Taj Group of Hotels; with a reasonable pay.

I had been a part of may college festivals. I was welcomed with a great fresher as soon as I entered college. This college has also provided me with many opportunities to participate in many extracurricular activities and competitions. The same way I also had a beautiful farewell, which is one of the most memorable moments of mine in this college

The fee structure is very feasible and affordable. I think, for the facilities provided by the college the fee is worth. we are also required to make carvings, but all the materials are provided to them by the college itself, which reduces the expenses from the students' side.

Scholarships are provided to students who can avail for an scholarship under government regulations.

The campus life is great with 1:4 girl to boy ratio. the students of the college are very talented and competitive. A lot so extracurricular activities are always taking place in the college such as sports day and other religious festivals are celebrated.

Students can choose for a on campus hostel facility. The hostel takes care of housekeeping and mess facilities for the students. The hostel is under the care of a resident warden. Nutritious food is provided to the students keeping in mind that students come fro different states and cultural backgrounds.

The alumni network is great and we always get constructive feedback is given from my seniors. The seniors are very kind and helpful. I've known a few alumni of the college who are well settled in the hotel industry which has motivated me to work in this industry.

In a year we are required to go through 2 examinations which is evaluated for 100 marks, out of which 25 marks are internals and 75 are external. One exam each semester. The practicals are conducted before our theoretical examinations, which is usually at the end of each year.

To get admitted into the college, I had to fill an application form which cost me Rs. 500. Later, I was supposed to take the online test conducted by college, the test was quiet simple and I got through it quiet easily. I also had to go through an interview, after which I was informed that I was shortlisted for the college. The management was quite helpful and guided me through the procedure well.

The faculty in this college is highly qualified and very helpful. The faculty is well versed with the subject and are experts in their respective field. They take the effort to guide us in the right way and make sure that each student is well equipped with the skills required by the end of the course.
