Course Curriculum Overview
I personally suggest it due to a good opportunity for placements and a secure future. Subjects are pretty well with the coordinating faculty. The faculty is always there to solve your doubts on campus. They are friendly and supportive. They teach to the best of their knowledge and every family member has an appropriate degree for their subjects. There are two semesters in a year precisely 4 months for a semester. A semester has mid-term examinations and end-term examinations. Mid-term examinations are comparatively easy to score due to less syllabus and pressure.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is provided to maximum students through the college of many companies like Goldman Sachs, Accenture, Wipro, etc. Give these opportunities giving a stipend of approx 1lpa. Many hackathons are conducted internally as well as externally where you can participate and win cash prizes. Every year you are required to work on a project with your team and submit it to your mentor.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible after 3rd year that is 7th semester. Placement criteria are good and an average of 3lpa is provided by various companies. Many companies visit the campus like Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Wipro, and many more. 80% of the students are placed and the highest package is 45lpa of a 3rd year student in B.Tech only.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite different for all the courses. B.tech requires approx 2lakh per year if you are a day scholar and 3lakh if you also want to pursue the hostel facilities. You can easily get a scholarship if you have scored 80% or above in 12th(only PCM) and 85%ile or above in jee mains accordingly.
Campus Life
It is quite interesting when we talk about clubs as it consists of 82 clubs in total which is obviously a huge number. There are clubs for photography, various sports, dancing, singing, acting, and many more. You can easily borrow sports accessories and play games in the auditorium of your choice including indoor as well as outdoor games stock. You can participate in clubs and four extracurricular activities. It is fun to participate in fests like GLA's Got Talent, malhaar, Spandan, Dandiya Night, and many more competitions where you can showcase your talents and also win exciting cash prizes or rewards.
Admission
Any student above 60% in their 12th can apply at GLA University. Application form is available online as well as offline and you have to pass an internal test called GLAET (GLA Entrance Test). Admissions are open from July to August. You can get a scholarship easily if you have scored 80% or above in your 12th(only PCM) or 85 or above %ile in JEe mains.
