I took RIE entrance examination which is conducted solely by RIE administration.I secured 7th rank in West Bengal quota and had a score of 133 out of 150 in entrance. I opted for BScBEd integrated course because I got two degrees within 4 years which takes normally 5 years in other colleges. So I saved 1 year. Moreover this is a NCERT affiliated institution so imparting B.Ed. degree from here is of great value for teaching profession in any CBSE school. Besides there is an option to opt your pass subject for your MSc other than the honours subject as you will be taught all the concerned subjects equally.

One can easily opt for research after having a MSc degree after this course. Course is divided into 4 years with equal emphasis on all subjects including the BEd papers. Recently the syllabus pattern for BScBEd integrated course has changed which is easily available in the official site of the college i.e. www.riebbs.ac.in

Yes I does provide internship with min 2 months experience in reputed schools. The whole process is organized in a well established manner. Schools like DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, Kendriya vidyalayas, JNVs, and other reputed private and government schools provide internship.

placement is held every year and many reputed schools from different parts of India come to pick students from here. The package is quite satisfactory and also depends on the quality of the student teacher. Many students have a well established career through this placement iprocedure. Institute takes full responsibility of the placement i process in a legal and secured manner so that students are harmed in no way.

Every national festival are celebrated. Besides days are observed such as teachers day, national AIDS day, Science day, sports day, NCERT Foundation day, utkal day, UNESCO day, world Federation day, independence day, republic Day, Gandhi Jayanthi, annual day of college, national vigilance day, swach Bharat abhiyan, earth Day, vanomahotsav and many more.

It's quite affordable and cheap. Maximum funding are from government and there are also provisions for scholarship. Fee structure includes tuition fees, electricity fee, water fee, lab charges, cultural fee infrastructure fee etc which are quite minimal. Tuition fee relaxation is there for reserved category students.

I have got a scholarship based on the merit and parent's annual income. Merit means rank in the entrance exam. Full scholarship is of 800 rs and half scholarship is of 400 rs. Scholarship is given quarterly in wholesome amount.

Campus life is peaceful and secured. Female ratio is more than male. Students are here from various parts of India. various extracurricular activities are organised such as cultural competitions, sports, Science exhibition, inter college competition, fests etc. All students live in harmony. Any kind of violence is not promoted. No students union and no politics allowed in campus. Anti ragging commettee is there to help freshers.

There are in total 5 hostels. 4 for girls and 1 for boys. Mess fees are around 70 rs per day which includes 4 times meal. Mess food is good and the menu is tentative depending on demand of students. Hostel rooms are well ventilated and is 3 seater. Establishment charges are taken yearly in hostel.

There is alumini association for the ex students and yearly alumini association celebration is done in DM school.

It depends on the hours of interaction you are getting. normally schedule is not too hectic. It's quite manageable as you will get free periods. And exams are held in semester pattern. There are 8 semester and 16 internal exams.semester exams are of 60 marks and the internal are of 25 marks. Rest are for various agendas like attendance etc.

Regarding the admission procedure..once you qualify the entrance institute will call you for counselling process and verification. Admission is based solely on merit and no system of donation is there. There is also provision of scholarship on various propaganda.

All are highly qualified and experienced. Most of them are having experience in teaching from foreign universities. They're also very friendly and cooperative. Classes are held on regular basis and principal has a quite keen observation on the teaching learning process.
