Course Curriculum Overview
In starting of my engineering teachers are not good enough but 2 year back new recruit teachers are well qualified and most of them are good ranker in gate. So now the level of teaching is good as compare to year 2014-2015. The mechanical department of my college is not that great. But in electrical department and civil is good for quality education.
Internships Opportunities
No our college not provide any internship.overall experience is good in some aspect like environment not high pressure of study and good students
Placement Experience
No companies are coming to the college for recruiting student. This is the main disadvantage of taking admission in gec.if you want job you have to crack any exam like gate ese or psu so job opportunity in gec is very bad.so i suggest if you want to study further then only take admission in government engineering college.
College Events
Ayam and aavesh two fest are celebrated. And some small events are ocationally happened. So u can take part in this and enjoy .aayesh is technical fest of our college and ayam is kind of annual fest that include sports. Robo war cricket badminton computer gaming chess dance all other activities are done in this fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. The fee is very less around 22000 per year. So u can easily pay .if you get scholarship you dont have to pay any fee amount. And also girls students dont need to pay any fee. So according to fee this is the cheapest engineering college in chhhatisgarth.
Fees and Financial Aid
If your rank is first 3 of your branch then you dont have to pay fee amount of the college and you get 10000 rs scholarship per year.and you can also get post metric scholarship around 21000
Campus Life
Campus life is improving day by day In my cls mechanical department almost 40%student are girl. Lab facility is worst. Sports is not that great. Robotics is very bad industrial exposure the knowledge of practical things are very bad in this college you are getting only theoritical knowledge.
Hostel Facilities
No hostel is available for obc and general student.only hostel facility available for st and sc students in 7km away from college building. And this is also having limited amount of seats. So overall if you are obc or general then you have to stay in pg or rented room.
Alumni/Alumna
No. This year in 2018 first time alumni meet is held so we cant say much about alumni network let see in future what happen.
Exam Structure
Exam are held in every 5 months. And between this end semester exams you have to write two more class test. The marks of all the exams are sum up in final result.so if you want to score good in sem you have to secure good marks in both the class test. Final sem exam is very easy to clear if put small effort.
Admission
I took admission in gec through pet examination conducted by cg vyapam.i feel the offline form at that time and secured rank 957. After that councling held on mahasamund and in my first counciling i got chance to take admission in bhilai institute of technology durg.but i skip that opertunity i choose gec raipur in second counciling. Then after result we have to go for document varification after that in month of july i took admission in gec raipur.
Faculty
In mechanical department most of the teachers done their m tech in iits. Some of them even work for psus then quit their job and choosing this profession. Teachers are good and helping nature. The management of mechnaical department is very bad. Practicals are not done timely.
