Fastest Growing University

The only thing that i want to conclude with is that college management does its best to shape the future of the student and i have seen so much concerned management only at CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY. I am proud to be a CUian.

I appeared for JEE mains in the year 2014 and got 100 marks but was unable to get any college as I was not able to cross the cutoff. Going to a private college was my only option so I chose Chandigarh university due to its growth factor in last 2-3 years as well as its placement records which is still a benchmark and holds a place in limca book of records for highest placements. One can appear for the CU-SAT exam and can avail scholarship for their course in the university.

The course is well designed and balanced between theory and practice as well research works are highly appreciated. A lot of opportunities regarding research whether the innovation is concerned or publishing of research papers in the international conference is concerned, the university provides the ample opportunities to grow and move ahead. I too have 3 research papers published in my Undergraduate course in international conferences so research work is highly encouraged here.

Yes they provide internships in 2nd year and 3rd year for 2 months and 1 month respectively. College gives the opportunities for an internship in abroad and also in India to some reputed organization. The college focuses on the placements more so they try to get more and more students placed till December that is of 7th sem for B.E. The average package is of 3.5 lacs p.a and if the company wants you to join in January that is in 8th sem. college let the student join and general striped is up to 20 k per month. Overall experience is very nice as I have done an internship in National Instruments so students get to learn a lot of things in the internship which later helps them in being industry ready and keep themselves technology oriented.

Since the university holds the record for best placement and has its name in limca book of records and then placement does not remain of a much concern. College invites multitudinous companies for students to get placement. Technical and non technical both type of jobs are offered during placement. College provides special training for placement before commencement of 7th semester for B.E so that student can get prepared well before time. At the end of the placement almost every student has more than two offer letter in hand to decide for tha in which company and job role they want to join. Highest paackage is of 32 lacs per annum in amazon web services and the verage package offered is 3.5 lacs per annum.

Various events that are celebrated in the college are: 1- CU Cultural Fest- It involves competition like dancing, fashion shows, singing and various others too and hosts participants from across the country. 2- National Tech Fest- It involves the technical competition which encourages the students to grow and shine in technical knowledge and again hosts participants from various reputed college from across the country. 3- National Literary Fest- For a student who has interest in literature and has oratory skill and has the zeal to participate in debate competition and speech, this is the best event for them as it provides ground for them to showcase their talent. There are various other celebration like Baisakhi celebration and various other chillout options for students throughout the year to keep them refresh and moving.

Yes college has various norms for scholarships. 1- Students who score more than 80% in 12th they get 10-20% scholarship ( based on their percentage) 2- Special scholarship for SC/ST students 3- Scholarship for the wards of defence personnel. 4- sports scholarship. 5- Scholarship on the basis of your score in academic from 1st year. these are some of the scholarship that i know about but i am sure there are two three more scholarship norms.

I have never seen a campus so much diversified which includes students from different part of india as well as world. Student from different countries like Russia, France, Bhutan live together, eats together and are living happily here.Gender ratio is not a concern in the university as there are good number of girls studying in the campus without facing any problem at any end.. College organises various extracurricular activities to keep students motivated like Rangoli competition, poster making competition, tech fests, robotics competition and workshops, even they have different robotics department which takes care of designing of robots for various competition. On regular basis Various literary competition are organised for the students some of them to name for is NATIONAL LITERARY FEST , Debate competition to make them prepare for AIU competition. They are very good for enjoying as well as to learn from them. University focuses on the wholesome development of the students through these activities.

Hostel facilities are nice. Rooms are on the sharing of four people per room but they are spacious and does not feel like conjusted. every student is provided with almirah and study table. Apart from it security is very nice as there is always one security guart standing at the hostel gate to restrict any chaos and problem. Food facility is one of the best i have ever seen. they provide nice and hygienic food and one of the best thing is that the menu of the mess is decided by the student community so everyone of us likes it.

Yes, interraction between juniors and seniors is organised time to time to guide juniors and they are very helpful for juniors in shaping their mindset. Junior stude ts are intentionally involved with seniors in various projects so that they can learn from seniors and grow . Also rhe alumni of the cpus are invited and a special session is held so thet rhey can share their experiences with the juniors and students.

Exam structure is very simple. the university has grading system and the total marks are dividedinto a ratio of 60 and 40 where 40 marks comprises of motnthly scheduled test and assignments and other parts like tutorial test and surprise tests. So it is quite easy for a student to learn throughout the semester and the approach of the exam is conceptual learning and question papers are set in that way only which make student work hard, learn and grow in the field.

I filled the form from the university's website and checking my eligibility for the course that i wanted to opt that is B.E in ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING they gave me a call to book my seat and take admission. i came here to take admission in 2014 itself.

Facult is highly qualified and almost all of them possess Phd if they are not they are pursuing it. Faculty is very knowledgeable and helpful. If a student has that zeal to grow they will make you grow in a very nice way. Each department has different faculty which deals with different things according to their expertise some are given the responsibility for innovative ideas, some deals with tge projects, some deals with the national and international participation and some are assigned with research works. So apart from teaching they encourage the students to grow according to their will either it be innovation, research work or participation in different Tech fest they provide a complete help.
