About my college

i think the college is good apart from some things that is mess food, college fees should be a bit low and the more companies should be called for recruitment of ece and biotech students.

JEE MAINS is the exam through which i got admission in this college. i opted for this college because i heard a lot about this college from my friends and relatives that this college has good number of placement offers . i chose btech in ece because i thought it would be interesting.

the course structure is good. we had to study a lot of subjects in the whole course. In the first year there were 6 subjects and all of the subjects were not related to ECE only but maths and subjects belonging to humanities department were also included. From 3rd year there was less burden as we studied only 4 or 5 subjects and from this year and from this year only we were offered choices which we call as electives. There were a variety of subjects in each basket and we have to choose them according to our priorities and we will get the elective according to our CGPA. I like this elective think because now we can choose our subjects and study according to our own wish.

No my college doesnt provide internship or i would say it provides internships to a very few students who are outstanding in their field and the stipend offered is around 10,000.

Placements are not so bad infact this colleges offersone od the best placements in computer science department. Their are various companies which offers a good package. Companies which are included in this list are amazon which offered 27 lakhs this time and recruited 4 students from our college. There are many companies which offered package around 10 lakhs and that included sumo logic, XL CATLIN, directi , Morgan stanley , amazon web services and deloiite also came here that offerred 6.5 lakhs , paytm offered 5 laks and two mass recruiters also visited our campus i.e., infosys and wipro and recruited a good number from my college. All in all i would say that placements are good for computer science but for electronics and communication branch and and biotech branch placements are not good.

There are various events organised in our college and the list includes jmun, techfest and cultural fest are the main events of our college. Apart from these events there are many other events also which are organised by individuals hubs and this includes google development group, robotics, parola hub which is a literary hub also organises various events, there is a radiance hub which is related to fashion society, two more events i remember and that are ethnic night and acoustic night and these are related to music , dance. Students enjoy to the fullest in these programmes and aslo participates enthusiastically.

I think it is expensive but it is totally worth for the student who is enrolling for computer science department just because of the placement this college offers and yes its fees is surely less than other good private college fees such as vit, thapar, upes etc .I am paying around 2.60 lakhs which includes hostel fee also. Hostel fees is 1 lakh 10 thousand per year and rest of the fess includes development fee and tution fee . I also want to mention that here hostel fees does not remain constant for all the 4 years. It goes on increasing with each year but the tution fee and development fee remains constant for all the four years.

i dont much about schloarship that my college offers except one which is for low income class people.

Here the campus life is really very good. There are various facilities provided in the campus so that the student does not get bored . Gym facility separate for girls and boys is available then after that swimming pool is also there . Apart from these table tenis is provided and in boys hostel pool game and a separate tt table is available. A basketball court is also available and there is a separate team for boys and girls which participates in various inter-college tournaments. Here girls are less than boys but the difference is really very small and what to talk about economic status ..i think mosr of the students who come here belong to the rich or upper middle class families. Different kinds of workshops are organised mostly for 1st years to teach them about various things such as robotics, coding ,web development etc.

Hostel room is good . It is a 2 seater room , a decent room for students to stay and i think its better than most of the government colleges hostel rooms and some of the PG's also. Every day maid comes two times for cleaning of the rooms. Washrooms too are kept clean. There is central ducting for each hostel and the ac works from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. If the students want to watch t.v. there is a common tv room available. On personal levels i dont think that mess food is good, the taste is same in all of the curries but yes it is for sure better than many of the hostels and i dont think that any college student likes mess food , everyone wants to eat from outside only and same is the case with me.

in every college seniors provide a great help to their juniors and same is the case in our college too. They help the students with projects, guide them and the workshops are organised by the seniors only to teach their juniors.They also help in choosing of the electives ( which one is better , what is tge advantage of choosing a particular subject over others).

Exam system is really very hectic . There are 3 exams conducted in each semester in which 2 are internals and one is main exam and not only this there are good number of practical exams also . In 1st and 2nd year it seems very hectic but afterwards one gets used to it and the burden also reduces.

i filled its form in the month of may and after that i got an email regarding counselling which was held in july . All the people called for counselling was according to their ranks in jee mains and after we reached the college we were all gathered in its auditorium where the people who have filled forms were called according to their ranks. We were made to fill a form regarding the choice of our courses priority wise and were given the course according to our ranks and our choices only as all the branches have limited seats.

Faculties are really good. Most of the faculties have completed their phds and as it is a private college so they try to teach students in the bestest way possible. They do guide students and help them in solving their doubts. We have to make minor and major projects in 3rd and 4th year and the mentors (teachers) provides great help to the students in the selection of the project and afterward how to work on that project etc.
