Remarks

Overall the college is good. Management is good and I have not faced any issues in my 4yr course. I would definitely recommend this college to any other student.

Entrance Preview

Karnataka CET(KEA). I got a rank of around 6000 and took up IEM ( similar to mech). Good college and also close to home. One of the top engineering colleges in Bangalore. Good and worth the experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Good. Up to the mark. The course structure I'd regularly updated and in line with the standard. Electives will be offered from the 3rd year onwards. Students can choose subjects according to their interest.research scope is pretty limited but genuinely interested students will get an opportunity. It is a student-driven culture.

Internships Opportunities

Yes compulsory internship to be found by the student. Internship is to ensure students are exposed to industry. The students are free to choose the industry they want to intern.

Placement Experience

3.5

Good opportunities but limited to IT sector. Scope in other sectors is limited and most important is given to IT sector to ensure 100% placement. Overall pretty decent. Also, the placement process needs to be made more transparent. Placement is overall a good experience but could be made better

College Events

4

Many cultural events. Udbhav and rajyotsava being major ones. Also, department fests and other fests take place regularly. Department fests are held once in 2yrs. Udbhav in even semester and rajyotsava in the odd semester. Good experience and volunteering is good exposure

Fee Structure And Facilities

Depends on the entrance exam you get through. Pretty affordable. CET would mean you pay fees of around 40k per year. Comedk fees are around 1.5 lakh and management quota depends on the decision of the admission section. Depends on the personal requirement of the student.

Fees and Financial Aid

None I know of. But many banks offer. Also few good scholarship options are available but for more information admission section needs to be contacted.

Campus Life

4

Campus infrastructure is really good and all facilities are available. Gender ratio depends on the branch choosen. But on an average gender ratio is around 60:40. No ragging on campus nor in hostels. The college is very strict about this. Mostly students are from all over India but few foreigners are also present on campus.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Decent. Although I haven't utilized the hostel facilities. It was pretty okay. Mess facilities could be improved. Few hostels are old. New hostels are better and more maintained. Hostel facilities are affordable and can be considered. Pg and other options are many around the college.

Alumni/Alumna

This depends on the kind of interaction and interest that the student shows. Alumni network is good as the college is a 50 yr old institute. Seniors are very helpful and always there if required. Alumni of the college's are present at top positions in different sectors and companies all over India and abroad.

Exam Structure

Pretty balanced. The exam is conducted very well and hassle free. Not very hectic. Internals and internal assessment is also fair. The internal assessment depends on the faculty handling the subject. Internal assessment comprises of assignments surprise tests and quizzes.

Admission

Apply through CET and went through the counselling process. CET is conducted by karnataka examination authority. The process begins with exam in May and then counseling which has 3-4 rounds. Comedk and management quota also available. After counseling final admission process in the college. Overall process was smooth and hassle free.

Faculty

3.5

Well experienced faculty. Faculty includes professors having a PhD degree. All faculty are experienced and friendly. Good student teacher interaction available. Teachers are ready to help students. Proctor system exists which help student teacher interaction.
