One good thing is that the GLA University works on the principle of "First Come First Serve". Second good thing is that this university is free from ragging. You will never see any case of ragging here. Overall GLA University is a good choice for engineering students especially from placement view and from an academic view.

I took JEE Mains only. My score was not enough to qualify for advance. I join this university because i dont want to waste one year in coaching and i want to go for higher studies so why to waste one year in coaching.

Course for each semester is uniformly divided in three modules. Every module covers 3 to 4 units. The course contains important units which will be helpful in your masters course as well as in research field. Sufficient no. of lectures are given to complete the course of particular subject.

Yes, GLA University provides internship. The CSE and ECE departments provide internship in university. The university also provides the opportunity for all students to take summer internship from private companies.

Placement percentage of GLA University goes upto 75% to 80% every year. Many tech companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, Xenture, etc come every year to provide job opportunities. Placement percentage of ECE branch is almost 100% every year. Other than these companies, the core companies also come for core branches (ME, CE and EEE).

GLA University is one of the best university for extroverts. There are numerous events conducted by GLA University. Here you get a chance to showcase your talent in other fields like managing skills, leadership skills, dancing skills, acting, singing, photography skills and lot more. GLA University conducts more than 20 events per year.

I think fee is little bit expensive for B.Tech especially for CSE branch. The academic fee for CSE branch with specialisation is 1,85,000 for first year and successive increment of 3000 every year. The fee for all other branches is 1,50,000 for first year and the successive increment of 3000 every year.

Yes, GLA University provides scholarship to thier bright students.For B.Tech, the students who scored 90% marks in PCM are eligible for a scholarship of 33,000 in their first year. For scholarships in 2nd, 3rd and 4th year they must maintain a cpi of 8.25 every year.

GLA University shares a gender ratio of approx 6:10 (girls:boys). There are students from different religions. One good thing here is that you will not see disputes over caste, religion, gender, etc. All students share mutual bondings with each other. Also the faculty and management do not support nepotism and feminism or any other type of indiscrimination and give equal opportunities to all.

GLA University provides accomodation for approx 5500 students including both boys and girls. Hostel rooms are available in single, double and triple seaters. Regular brooming and mopping service is provided in hostels. Sanitation services are also very good. Mess food quality is good as compared to other universities.

Senior students are very mature and helpful. One can go to them anytime for help and they will never bully you. They will always help you except some seniors. You can discuss your projects, ask any queries related to academics and you will never return empty handed.

Each semester is divided into 3 modules i.e. mid 1, mid 2 and end term. There are 4 to 5 weeks for every module. Each semester has 2 or 3 labs. After every module the viva of each lab is done and after the completion of second module there is viva as well as practical is done for each lab. Theoretical and practical quizzes are also done in each semester.

First you have to go through the website of GLA University. There you have to first register yourself. After that you have to qualify the GLAET(GLA Entrance Test). You can give the test in any GLA test centre nearest to your city. Finally fees submission and other formalities will be done.

Faculty of GLA University are very trained and experienced in their field of study. Every faculty has their master's or phd either from NITs' or IITs'. Faculty is always ready to help you out in their free time. You can ask questions, discuss problems with them.
