Course Curriculum Overview

In the upcoming era, I think the need of the hour is to tackle diseases using technology. So I felt this stream is best suited for my needs and interests Student faculty ratio is around 1:30 Teachers are highly qualified but I feel they are a bit lazy towards teaching their subject since there are no issues regarding their teaching Exams are easy

Students are eligible to attend placement from the 7th sem. Various companies visit our college Several companies like tcs, Volvo, mitsogo have visited our college. Around 100 companies visit each year Highest package 15 lap Around 60% get placed I want to continue higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it is a government college, the fees are very low. One can complete his whole engineering in just 1lakh. It is highly affordable. It's also one of the top colleges in the state. Scholarship are provided to students from economically weaker and backward communities

Campus Life

Fests here are not conducted extravagantly or with grandeur but simplistic and folk The library is present near the main block of the college. It has well stock of books and magazines. Several English and Tamil newspapers are available daily The classroom has a smart board. Varied clubs and sports clubs are present

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room has desks , chair, cupboard. Fans are not installed. As one might expect, the food here is subpar. Idlis feel like rock. One might mostly obligated to eat outside Registration process for hostel will be done during college admission

Anyone who has secured a decent mark in their HSc can apply for this college. Application will be only available through tnea counseling. After having results are announced, the counselling form will be released Reservation benefits will be provided to weaker sections

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

A detailed review on GCT Coimbatore - Most affordable college of Asia.

In the admission process i applied only for government colleges like anna university chennai, gct coimbatore, gce salem, thiagaraja college madurai like that. Because i cant afford private college, among these government colleges gct coimbatore remains my first choice and got the admission in there. The main reason of choosing this college is affordable fee structure and good placement statistics. The admission process for government colleges are purely through Counselling process, there is no management quota. Based on our 12 th mark, a cutoff for 200 marks will be calculated. In this 100 marks from maths and 50 from physics and 50 from chemistry will be accounted. Then a rank list will be released based on this cutoff mark incl all applicants, it is called general rank list. There will be other rank list like community rank list where the rank will be grouped by community such as BC, MBC, SC/ST. Every college will release a seat matrix based upon their vacancy. Student have to fill a choice list based on their interest. And based on the rank, the software will check the vacancy for seats in the choice order and finally college is alloted. There will be three rounds of admission, After every round they will release the vacant seat matrix. There will be a gap of 1 week between rounds....Read More
