- Academic Blocks are pretty good and well maintained
- Sports campuses are pretty big and contain many amenities
- Faculty are pretty friendly and well. Teaching methodology is also good
Dislikes
- Many buildings are under construction but it is not a problem to academics.
- Few hostels are not good as they are specifically for freshers.
- Double sharing rooms are not good and you don't have any choice to change to single room.
Course Curriculum Overview
I used to hate computer science, hence I chose electrical engineering. The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:15. The professors are good. The course curriculum is good. Exams are conducted monthly once or twice for all courses. Here fractal academics is followed.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides many paid internships(right from the first year) to help improve technical skills. There are many startups like Tihan on campus. The campus provides many opportunities to place a startup.
Placement Experience
Many companies come here( like Google, Amazon, semiconductor companies like Intel, AMD, snapdragon, etc. )for hiring, and generally hiring happens around December. Every year, around 95 percent of people get on-campus placements and few get off-campus placements also.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee is 200000. There are many scholarships and bank loans given. If any education loan is taken from SBI Bank inside the campus, the institute pays the interest amount. Fee hikes are pretty rare and the cost to study is reasonable.
Campus Life
Annual fests are underwhelmed. For now, there is a small library. The institute is building a new big library. We have access to over 29000 e-books, 17000 foreign materials, etc. There are 2 sports campuses inside the campus. Classrooms are well equipped with boards( black and white), projector boards, projectors, many labs, separate buildings for each group, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are equipped with 1 fan, 1 chair, 1 cot, and a few switches(with plugs). Annual hostel fees with mess charges are around 50k per semester. There are 2 messes inside the campus. The menu is pretty random every day but can be tracked through the dashboard app.
Admission
The Admission process was smooth and digitally done. It took less than 10 minutes to complete the process. The admission is based on the JEE advanced rank. 2183 was the cutoff rank for electrical engineering(core) and 2230 was cutoff for electrical engineering( ICDT).
