Remarks

Good thing was one will get every kind of facility in the college. There is a huge auditorium where one will get to see the movie and cricket match . Bad thing was, the procedure of taking courses and registration for the new semester is quit lengthy

Entrance Preview

I took IIT JEE, AIEEE , BITs exams . In iit I scored 275 marks and 1341 rank. I chose IIT Kanpur because that was academic wise best college

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course structure was same as any other engineering college. In first year whole batch was divided into two groups. In the second year we started to learn departmental courses . In each year everyone must do one HSS . There was system of open electives and science electives . In which one can take other departmental's course

Internships Opportunities

Colleges people call some companies for internship. But there are very few people who get internship. Most of them try by themself . Only for few department internship is mendetory.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement and job opportunity was mainly driven by cgpa . If one has good cgpa (more than 8.5 ) he will get job easily. From (6.5 to 8.5) they have to do some struggle . Bellow 6.5 will get job either if one is exceptionally good in other field or if he is lucky

College Events

4

There were one sports event name as udghosh where team from other colleges come and play with each other, one culture event name as antaragni the biggest event throughout the year, where people from other colleges and do culture compitition and one technical event name as techkriti where technical compitition happen

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure was like 35000 per semester. That was very less as compared to level of knowledge we used to get there. Apart from the fees we use to pay almost 1400 per month for mess fees. Apart from that there were some personal expenses like canteen bill and all.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was a mcm scholarship in which we use to get 60000 per year was quit helpful. And loan facilities were also very good. There was an sbi bank in the college which use to provide loan without any mortgage.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio is very bad and those girls also not good looking. I think this is one of the reason people in iit are more diverted towards academic. Lab and sports facilities are very good. But I couldn't utilise the sports facilities properly. May be because academic pressure. For Robotics there was a college club. One who is interested can join that club

Alumni/Alumna

After getting pass out from the college, there are very few people who will be in contact, atleast in my case. Half of the people goes outside the country,

Exam Structure

Yes, exams and labs were very frequent and very hectic. We don't use to get a single day gap during exam unless it is a holiday. Sometimes one exams used to happen in the evening and another in the next day morning. So we used to do night out for exam preparation

Admission

After cracking IIT JEE I attend online counciling and filled all my preference. Then I went for fees payment in the nearest IIT . For that we had to go to DOAA office. The procedure was smooth and fast unlike any other government procedure. After joing the college there was a councelling service event where wo got introduction to college and lab facility

Faculty

4

Most of the facilities are well qualified and they are eager to help students. There is a faculty building where one can go and contact the faculty directly. There is facility of tutorial classes where one can go and understand the lecture which was tought in class

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
