3 years at Gniot

College management is very strict in terms of discipline you will get fined for involvement in any activity in which you are not supposed to even you will get fined of 5000₹ for just breaking leaf from tree , or run in class / using phone . There is a camera in every class to monitor the activity of students and faculty's by management

I give the entrance of aktu , and scured rank in order of 30,000 range. Since i was just passed from school and got no time for preparation my rank was poor but somehow i secure a seat at Gniot . I opted the college because one my neighbour Friend also the student of Gniot and it was near my home so i opted it.

Since the college is affiliated to uttar pradesh technical university now aktu so course structure is designed by the university and college have to follow it. Forget about research if you get admission in gniot , u just have to get grades at any how to get degree.

College have nothing to do with internship of students. Students themselves have to manage for it by refrences .

College give full opportunity to the students to get job , they provide company. In gniot 2 tpio are there who are good at there job ibm Samsung technip like companies visit our campus on an average 70% of students get placed of average sallary of about 3.2 lakhs.

We have tech-club which organizes tech events and workshops on various technologies and cultural club which organizes fest fresher party and alumni meets, sports club organize sports events. There is a blood donation camp which organised by management every year in which students in masses donate there blood for needy ones , you will enjoy the college life if you join any of the club , you will get attention for doing job at clubs ,u get chance to interact with seniors and get your personality developed by getting chance to meet guests and expand your social network.

Fee structure is quite feasible as comparitively other colleges if about 80000₹ per year. Since i belong to the fee waiver category so i just have to pay university fees and get concession in tution fees .in first' year you have to submit registration fees , university fees , security fees which cost you upto 1 lakh 10 thousand by the second year you have to pay 80000₹ then in third year 75 thousand and in fourth year 75 thousand again. If you get fined for any activity you have to pay from 5 thousand to 50 thousand. There is no extra charge for book bank you can get books free of cost

Scholorship are provided by state government , there no such scheme college provides. You are supposed to collect all necessary documents and submit to registar, if you fullfill all the criteria of getting scholorship the money will be credit to your provided bank account . It just a luck of chance to get scholorship even after fullfill all the criteria

Gender ratio is 30 females per 70 males . There is a dj night event but seprately for girls and boys, many free Workshops are organised by techclub and cultural club. There is no issue of tolerance on any base. Crowd is mainly from bihar still there is no issue on any ground.

Hostel is just hell , if you dont atttend the class the teacher will knock on your hostel room and take u to the class , even hostel power supply is cut in college class time . Food of mess is just mesh You wont even like to taste if you are food enthusiast

Alumni meet up are organised and there is social network group where u get opportunity to get connected to seniors

Exams are same like other colleges of aktu affiliation 2 seasonal 1 put and 1 university test followed by internal and external practicals. You are supposed to give atleast two of them from put 2 seasonal and put and perform good to get good grades in internal, you have to attend the class from 9:20 to 4:55 you will not get extra time by the end of day for research work

I got a seat of electronics and communication in gniot through gniot. It was quite easy as u just have to secure good rank in uptu entrance exam and fill the seat, and if u r lucky u will get the seat, just take ur seat alot letter to college and claim your seat and you get admission without any interview

faculty's are just fine they have to complete the course in a given time period so they have pressure on them too, but they are good at teaching what they are supposed from them. I find most of the teachers are as talented and knowledged as a professor of iit while some of them are just garbage. But it depends on what type of teacher u like the one who clear your doubts on academic ground or that or which who just like to entertain the class .some teachers are very good at there job help students in projects provide notes while other just do masti in class.
