My View on SDMIT

Totally I would say SDMIT is well and best suited for the one who wanna concentrate on studies without any disturbance. All the teaching staffs were good and had good bonding with students "during the time of my college days"

Entrance examination: CET My Ranking was 4*** As per information which I collected it was best suited to study without any disturbance and with lots of greenery surrounding us.

The Course structure is as per the VTU Board and all the Colleges which comes under the board follow the same syllabus. We have 2 electives in 7th and 8th sem students can opt for the subject which they like but based on VTU rules a subject should be elected by the min of 10 students for the subject to be included in Syllabus

No College doesn't provide internship till I completed my Course. But I'm not sure whether they are providing now or not. we did an internship outside before getting into the 4th year of our graduation.

The Year we passed almost 70% of the students got placed. The package was based on industrial standards at the time of my graduation. Companies would come to college and students who come under the cutoff slab provided by the company could attend the interview interview process would be of Company standards how they have scheduled like GD F 2 F Managerial etc.

I selected this college through CET and got admitted to the college later. paid the government fee through DD and later completed other formalities. Hostel fee will be extra which will not be included in college fee. Monthly mess bill will be separate from Hostel fee too. you can opt 2 seater or 3 seater rooms for the hostel for which the price varies

No there was no loan offered by the college as per my knowledge but the student could opt for scholarships provided by government based on their criteria.

Campus life was really good, we used to enjoy our stay there, completely surrounded by green and environmentally friendly, the gender ratio was about 50:50. we could find all of the students there which were bit diverse but not in a high ratio. labs were neat and well maintained. regarding sports, we used to have sports meet every year and we had the good place to play cricket volleyball and basketball

The hostel was very good and new when I was perusing my degree and we had comparatively good food. morning breakfast with coffee or tea from 7 to 9 afternoon lunch from 12.30 to 2 evening coffee or tea with snacks different for each day from 5.30 to 6.30 and dinner at 8 to 9

Alumni's are always helpful and we had a good network and rapo with our seniors most of them were referred by our seniors too and now they are well settled.

Faculties were always available in the staff room and even the faculties were given accommodation within the college premises and we could meet them whenever we wish to. Both Hostel and Staff accommodation are in very near to College building. Its walkable distance from the college building.
