Fun with struggle

There is only one bad remark of this college that is placement. Except the mass recruiters none of the good company visits this college for placement. If you want a good salary job and you are from non CS/IT branch then you have only one option that is GATE. There are a lot of students from this college who cleared the GATE in the very first attempt and got really good jobs in MNC as well as govt. sector.

I cleared MPPET exam in 2012 with 95 marks. I opt this college because this is a govt. engg. college and faculties are good.

The course structure is very good because this is a autonomous college. We got a lot of opportunity to get practical knowledge along with theory knowledge. Course structure covers all most all the basics and advance technologies and principles. It also help us to prepare for GATE exam.

No, this college don't provide any type of internship. You have to do it by your own. College accepts all type of internship certificate i.e. govt. institute certificate or private institute certificate.

Placements and hob opportunities of this college is not good. only some of the mass recruiters visits this college. If you are from non cs it branch then you have to search the job by your own knowledge and skills. But still students of this college easily finds the job after the graduation.

This college conducts 2 events in a year. one is cultural and other one is technical event. Both the events are good. You will get a lot of competition to participate. This college also conduct a cricket tournament, in this tournament all most all the engineering colleges of M.P. participate.

This is a grant-aid college i.e. they get the funds from govt. also. But the grant given for only 4 branches. So the fee for some branches are 35,000 per year and for some branches fee is 78,000 per year. Along with this fee you have to pay 2000/- per semester for exam fee. Hostel fee is not included in this figure. But it is very nominal like 6000/- per year for boys hostel.

No, college don't provide any type scholarship but the state govt. provide a food scholarship if you have the M.P. domicile and you are in reserved category.

Campus life is good in this college. But still like any other govt. engineering college the gender ration is not good. In the capacity of 60 seats hardly you will get 20 female students. you will get good labs and machinery in this college. There are a lot of competitions of robotics, debates etc. They conduct good competitions and workshops.

Hostel facilities are good but the food is no good. In the hostel you will get all the indoor games like carom, chess etc. and they provide the triple sharing rooms for a 1st-year hostel and after that, you will get twin sharing rooms. But I would like to suggest to take the accommodation outside the college. And private hostel food is good as compared to the college hostel.

Alumni of this college are very good. But there is no any good network between students and alumni. Senior and junior relationship of the student is really good. Seniors are very helpful.

This college follows the semester exams pattern. You have to face the exams after every 6 months. And after 2 months you have to face the mid semester exams. But still you will get a lot of chilled out days. Even some times you will fell like you are on a 4 year holidays.

I got this college through the MPPET counselling which was online. After the allotment of college we have to report to the college with all the documents along with Demand Draft (For Fee). All the documents list and reporting slots are mentioned in the allotment letter.

College faculties are very talented and qualified. They supports and motivate all the students at every tough situations. They provide practical as well as theory knowledge. But the non-teaching staff's behavior is not good, that is one of the major concern of the college.
