I chose this course as I had a lot of interest in computer languages. Every class contains 75-80 students and every day there is a class of 3 subjects, timings of the class varying from 1.5 hours to 2.25 hours. The faculty here is highly qualified, they have a very deep understanding of the subjects they are teaching. They are always there to help the students in every way possible. We are given industry-level knowledge by the faculty. There are 2-3 semester tests for each subject and one end-term exam. Proper study material is provided for each subject online.

From the third year, the students become eligible for campus placements. Firstly they are given internships to make them familiar with how the corporate world works & then according to their qualification & skills, students are given the best jobs. Different companies visit the campus like Wipro, Infosys, HCL, HP, Oracle, and Accenture. Last year a girl was given an internship by Amazon. The average package is 8 lakhs/year. The highest package is 40 lakhs/year. A high 80-90% of students are placed by the university. After getting the degree I must have already been placed in a good company, after that, I might or might not opt for higher studies.

There is no fees hike once a student has taken admission but every year the fees increases a bit for new admissions. There is also some hike in bus fees if you opt for transport facility. Many government scholarships are accepted in the college. Loan can be taken by the students for financial help. Many competitions & hackathons are organized in the college that help students to explore their potential & increase their knowledge. By participating in these competitions, students not only increase their academic knowldege but this also gives the students a chance to socialize with other students & increase their connections which is very important in the coperate world. Their are very good companies that come to take students from the university. Students are given stipend in their internships and good salary & execellent working conditions on placement.

Freshers are organized every year for the newcomers. Apart from freshers' cultural fests, special arrangements to celebrate festivals, DJ nights etc are also organized on campus for the students. There are a number of libraries on the campus of each department where the students can peacefully study & gain knowledge. The libraries are very big & contain a large number of books. Projectors are present in every classroom so that students can be taught with the latest tech. There are a number of computer labs where students are taught. Every class on the campus has air conditioners in them so that students can study & focus properly. There is almost a place for every sport on the campus. Teams are made & matches are conducted to keep the students fit & healthy. A number of clubs are present for the students to join & explore themselves. These clubs give a chance to the student to open themselves up & socialize with others. These clubs are also run by students only which increases leadership.

The admission process was pretty much simple. For admission in the BE CSE course, the student must have scored above 75% in PCM in the 12th board and must have attempted JEE Mains. The admission was made at the Chitkara school in Chandigarh by paying the fees and no entrance exam was taken.
