Awesome college but very unnecessary strict rules.

College is good but , there is no mobile phone allowed and no own vehicles and apart from this our college is good in all other things .

KCET , i opted this college because i was interested in civil engineering , and many of them suggested that maharaja institute ,mysore . Is one of the best colleges for civil engineering in Mysore.

All the modules are taught properly and compelety finished in time. And course circillum is properly planned and executed with out any problem. As im in the first year we don't actually have electives but under vtu, it is mandatory to study the environmental studies in cycle.

I dont know. As im still in 1 st year i have no idea about it . But i have heard our seniors speaking about internship provided in college .

Placements and jobs are increasing year by year in our college . Many software , construction and other companies have visited and student placements are increasing every year. different companies like L and T , zeneth construction , and other companies.

Mahadasra is the college fest which takes place every year . And many successful people come to our college and cultural programs also happen in mahadasara and even sports and other competition arranged by the respective branch also takes place . Apart from this there will also be other small programs which will be arranged throughout the year .

Apart from 50k rs cet fees . The college will charge us around 32000rs . Finally we pay around 1 lakh rs every year . The college fees includes all bus and library and other fees. . The main thing here is that there is a very bad rule that students has to compulsorily should travel by college bus which is very childish and annoying rule for an Engineering college.

Scholarships are mostly provided by the government mainly scholarship called vidyasiri , is provided for the backward classes . And there are even other loan facilities accepted by the college like D-ARIVU , ARIVU.

campus life is just awesome but there is a main drawback the rules of our college the college is up to 4 :00 pm every day and mobile phones are not allowed what ever the case may be and the college is situated in mandya were cabs are there and we are not allowed to take our own vehicles . All these things ruiens our college life . Other than that the teachings and other activities are good.

As far as I know, Our college does not have any hostel but there are many pg's nearby to our college and the canteen food is not the best but is good, and healthy to consume and the mess also be cleaned every day and kept hygiene. As far as food concern there is no need to worry.

Seniors are helpfull and the and share their different experiences and tactics to us . Allumini network are helpful . Seniors are helpful in their own ways .

All exams and labs are good . So no tension about all these things . All labs are well placed and maintained with good working equipments or other things. And speaking about exam all are good. exams are conducted sem wise once in one sem by vtu and papers come from vtu

after getting admission order from cet or any other exams . Take the print out of that and take all necessary documents to college and there we have to fill the application given by them and give it to them and we will have to pay both cet and college fees at the same time only.

Most of our lecturers are highly qualified. But speaking of the interest and that awseome teaching with which the lecture can understand what is going on in our mind whether we are grasping the concepts civil lecturers are good in it . But as our college was found by all the engineers or rathers teachers there is no doubt about the teaching faculty.
