Course Curriculum Overview
I chose ECE as I was interested in electronics and this is a booming industry. Student-faculty ratio is very good at IIIT Bhopal, at approx 1:20. All the faculty are well qualified and have PhD in their respective fields.
Internships Opportunities
We have numerous internship opportunities at our college starting from 3 semesters. Several startups and big companies take interns at our campus with good stipends ranging from 20k-2lakh. This year Microsoft was also present.
Placement Experience
Placements have been a major factor in taking admission here. The 2023 placement stats have been amazing, to say the least. It had 99%+ placement with the highest package of 85 LPA, and an average salary of 22 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is a bit high at 2.1 Lakh per year to study, but you can avail your respective state scholarships as well as private scholarships. If you are from MP, you get a 100% scholarship on the course fee. We also have a scholarship cell that guides on different scholarship opportunities.
Campus Life
We have our annual cultural fest NIIMACK which was a very successful event this year. It was a 3-day event, which presented a large amount of cultural as well as fun games events, that ended with EDM night. Numerous amounts of sports clubs have been formed like football, cricket, chess, volleyball, kabaddi and more.
Admission
I had to clear Jee Mains to gain admission to IIIT Bhopal. The application process was through josaa counselling and offline reporting at the college. I availed obc ncl reservation in my admission. Overall, I am happy with the process of admission.
