The admission process was smooth as it was through JOSAA councelling. Once I secured a seat at IIITDM Jabalpur, the institute provided clear instructions for document verification and fee payment. Once admitted, the institute's administration and faculty have been supportive in ensuring a smooth transition into college life.

The course curriculum for the BTech CSE program at IIITDM Jabalpur is comprehensive; however, it can be considered a bit outdated. For instance, in courses like DBMS, we find ourselves learning technologies like Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB, but the actual curriculum focuses on PHP and SQL. Additionally, some unnecessary courses may not be very useful.

A total 100+ companies had visited the Institute and offered more than 350 offers to the students of graduating year 2022-23 which include various multinational organizations Amazon, American Express, BEL, CRED, Commvault, Gameskraft, media.net, Oracle, Cambium networks, Zolostays, Slice, Samsung, Mathworks, Synopsys, Infosys, Accenture, Chalo, TCS, Infoedge, JSW, Tata Elxsi, Mahindra & Mahindra, Adani Group, CDOT, Flipkart, Zscaler, Scaler, Zynga, Autodesk, PlaySimple, Morphle Labs, Cummins India, Ericsson, Baja Auto, CapriGlobal, Dolat Capital, Axis Bank, Hopstack, GE Digital, Goldman Sachs, Reliance Jio, Radisys, Quantiphi, EXL Services, Intel, Intuit, Addverb Technologies etc. Institute has seen a significant increase in the average package. For the current session, the overall UG Avg package has been increased by 150%. About 74% of students have received the offer of more than 10 LPA. The institute also allows the students to go for Project Based Internships for 6 months duration to gain practice

These clubs organize various events every month, including bigger fests like Gusto (the sports fest) and Tarang (the cultural fest). Annual hackathons are also part of the campus culture.

A typical hostel room may include a bed, study table, chair, and storage space for personal belongings. The quality of meals in the hostel mess can vary. Sometimes the taste is as delightful as gulab jamun, while at other times, it can be as challenging as karela.
