Reason not to join IIITDHARWAD CAMPUS

Since I am interested in computers I have decided to take CSE BRANCH. The faculty here is not too much good. They have done their PhDs from various NITs but teaching is not that effective. There are 64 boys and 6 girls in the CSE branch. There are two exams like mid sem and end sem. They are not that difficult to pass

Here fees per semester are 2 lakhs exclusive of branch whether it may be CSE, EC, or DSAI. Since I am from the general category I won't avail any scholarship. As I have enquired from seniors and management there are very few companies coming to the college for the placements.

There are no festivals conducted in this college. but some clubs are there where they conduct some events clubs like Return 0, GDSC, BLOCKSOC, CLOUD COMPUTING, E CELL and many more. Recently the annual fest (IIIT HABBA)was conducted in the college. There is only one library and many of the books are not available in the library . As there is only one ground on our campus we cannot play outdoor games like cricket, or football. Sports activities are not that effective since there is no proper equipment like no proper outdoor and indoor stadiums

In the hostel we are provided a room in which a total of four students will be there including me . They provide a plank,one study table,one chair and a cupboard for each student.First of all food in the mess is not at all good.menu is totally different.quality is not that much good.cleanliness in the hostel is upto the mark but many activities could be done to improve cleanliness

I have applied for the JEE examination and got 96.75 percentile. Based on that my all-India rank was given and based on the cut-off for that college I got admission through jossa counselling. I didn't get any reservation benefits since I am from the general category.
