Good college for study

Cons: Management is not up to the mark. Very strict. Pros: Disciplined. Makes us to study some how.

There is no entrance exams to be taken for this particular Course (M Sc Software Engineering). So you can just check for the vacancy of the seats to avail for this course after my 2nd PUC. It is a direct 5 years integrated course after +2/2nd PUC.

Course structure was so good. Since it is a five years integrated course and it is a 5 years Masters course it covers the curriculum of both Computer Science and Information technology curriculum and also more compared to other course curriculum. But there is no things related to research.

No, my college does not provide any kind of internship. So there will not be any kind of stipend to the students.

Placements and Job opportunities, it is quite less. While I pass out on 2012, only one company i.e., INFOSYS visited and hired 300 members. Other than that we do not had any of the placements. It was only the big placement in history of our college. But now a days I have heard from my juniors that number of companies has increased but all are very small companies with very minimal packages.

Events celebrated/enjoyed in my college was only Annual day. We took part in many events like dance, mime, fashion parade, skit and many more. And we got prize to. I was an awesome experience in our college with my friends enjoying the days of college. Other than annual day there was no much events to talk.

Fee structure is quite expensive compared to my senior. Since this course as better outcome and demand, its fee structure increased in huge when compared to my senior. But it is feasible when compared to the management seats of B.E. I paid Rs.65,000 for an year. My senior paid just Rs.30,000 per year and my super senior paid just Rs.18,000 per year.

No college have not provided any facility to avail loan for the students. I have availed the education loan from SBI bank.

There are equal number of girl candidates in my college. But we are not allowed to interact with girls. It is a followed culture over there. And there is a very minimal consideration for extracurricular activities and sports and competitions. We have only Annual day celebrations in a year.

I have spent a year in hostel. It has good infrastructure. Rooms are clean. We have every thing inside hostel. But hostel is strict, even to use cellphones. And we do not have permission to leave hostel. We need special permission to leave hostel on weekend. Foods are quite good. We have TV hall and gym room.

Yes they are helpful. They share some of the opening available in their respective companies. So that we can attend the interview with their references.

Exam structure is as usual. We had 10 semesters with the lab practicals. And the final 10th semester as an internship program where we can go it in corporate companies or project center. So in tenth semester we do not have any subjects. I did my paid internship in Bangalore in one of the Software company.

Enquired about the vacancy for the seat in the management and spoke up with principal of the college. Finally paid the 1 year fees and got an admission and joined the college. So if the seat is available these are the process to be taken for admission.

Some of the staffs are of very qualified and friendly and their teaching skills will be excellent. But some staffs as have no capacity to guide the students as it is common in all the institutions. In that case it is our own effort to prepare that particular subject.
