Good college for marine and nautical science studies

You have any dreams in marine and nautical science studies than you can prefer this college or otherwise my wise is don't choose this college .

I wrote a common entrance exam in the college and out of 100 I came at 30. Then later I realized that college want more admission so they permit the student without entrance . Then the interview is simple and they ask about family back round. Simple basic in 12th and no need to worry.

My course is petroleum engineering and this course is really good . It is useful for research and development. According to course available in TAMILNADU , I choose this college. It is really interested than join and one thing your ambitious than you learn many things. In the curriculum you can have fire fighting course and sea survival course for offshore jobs .

Our college is sending students for internship in oil and natural corporations company. The students who are all score more marks in the exam , on the basis interview to internships will be allowed to attend. The companies are visited for petroleum streams may four or five in year. The intern stipend may 10k or 15k per months. You need not except stipend in government company. Then come to in plant training and working project the college allow students do outside .

In marine and nautical science around last batch 250 students are placed. The interview will conducted for 1st year marine and nautical students . The other departments like petroleum, mechanical,electrical ,naval architect are around 10 or 20 will be placed in last year . The companies visited last year almost 10 or 12 . One or two company will take bunch of students and rest of all companies will take 2 or 3 students . The percentage of placements are out of 100% is 40% to 50%. The companies will offer fresh students salary package almost 30k to 40 k.

Each month our college conduct events related to the specific department. Technical and non-technical events enhance the student skills. The conference will be conducted every two months of gap. Every four months the fest will be conducted. The events are paper and poster presentation, speech, debate, quizzes, and sports. Through sports you can enhance your talent and especially sports events is more conducted than normal technical events. Every sports bodybuilding event plays the major role.

I would like to say the fees structure is expensive for this course( petroleum engineering) . The marine and nautical science are worth full for them because they are treated better than other departments. So coming to my point , pls choose marine or nautical and don't take other streams . So fees for other departments are compare to be expensive . The other course are available in many best college .

Our college not providing any these kind of facilities. Loan format paper are available then you will take further decision. Some tips provide to Muslim students to apply for scholarship outside through some govt web portal.

In our college the boys are more compare to girls . Because girls are not choose this out of engineering streams . The girls ratio are very low. Students are allow to attend the workshop in other colleges. In our college , the ragging is strictly prohibited. Events are held every two months . You enhance your skills. No sexual orientation occurs when I joined and now also . You can make my friends here.

The hostel facilities are normal like rented house because every rooms will have capacity of two and they filled with four students . The one thing nice in our hostel is having T V . WiFi facilities in the hostel for 24 hrs. The food in mess are nice and no complaint for food. R O water processing for drinking water purpose.

Our seniors helpful in some our studies . They are kind and easily make your friend . The interaction are good and they are sharing their experience in the class rooms . They are really helpful for before examination. Some of them are guiding to mini- projects. Some of them dominate the students to show their attitude .

The exam structure of this college basically 8 semester four year course . According to 8 semester you will have each subject 100 marks . The 100 marks is divided to two types are internal and external marks . The internal having a 40 and external having a 60. The internal based small test in college in monthly schedule and external is final exam of each semester. The each semester having practical exams . The exam point of you ,the students need not worry about the pass or fail because you know the concepts in the subject and write as much as you know . They will make you pass. Soft skills will conducted for first two years and you need to perform .

After passing 12th I really curious about other streams of engineering . Then I searched petroleum engineering in Google @ TAMILNADU and first option came in Goole is Amet University. Next I read news papers, in that also the ad came. In this college you need not worry about the admission in other departments except but marine and nautical science seat filling fast . The other streams are get admission easily.

Some faculty are industry based experience persons and they are really helpful for your studies. Rest of some faculty are qualified for teaching process. You can learn many based on your interest. The college evaluation is liberal and normal. No need to worry about exams atleast you know they will make you pass. Then many conference are conducted each two months of gap and you can learn a new things industry person . The end of 6 semester you may have a chance visit to any industry.
