Entrance Preview
I took AIEEE,IPU,srm etc. But choose this college as this was the best option available for the rank scored by me.Ipu admission process is simple starting with online choice filling to reporting to college alloted with documents etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure feels pretty outdated w.r.t current industry practices with little to no emphasis on practicals.Some of the faculty is very knowledgeable but unfortunately it can't be said of all.Some of the faculty is passed out of same college itself.
Internships Opportunities
Most of the companies which visits tier 2-tier 3 colleges came to our college. Some of them were standard chaarted,aricent, infosys,hcl ,indian army,genpact and so on the maximum stipund provided was approx. 5 lacs per annum and the average package was around 3.25 lacs per annum.
Placement Experience
For the batch strength of 600 students , approx 350-400 students were placed.Infosys offered 3.25 lacs.hcl -2.70aricent-3.50standard charted bank-3.75tech bluegenpact- 1.50 to 3.00and lots more that are currently escaping my mind.
College Events
One cultural fest and one technical festival happens annualy.The participation is open to all the college student and a star celebrity is usually invited.
Fees and Financial Aid
Inter university scholarship for ews students. Also there are minority scholarship for sc/st etc.a scholarship for sikh students also available.
Campus Life
Crowd heavily skewed towards sikh population.A notable drama society is there .We never had any workshops for skill improvement etc.annual cultural & technical festival happens for which you can get the sponsorship.
Hostel Facilities
No hostel facility.Society is there in front of college where per pg cost is 4000-5000 rs.
Alumni/Alumna
The college enviroment is not that great ,so never had the chance to meet any alumni.The enviroment doesn't encourage an individual to progress forward.
