Sports facility are quite. Seniors are very friendly they will. Teach you how to play

It campus. Roads are not quite good it must be reconstructed
Ist year hostel should be made more good like 3rd and 4rth year

Course Curriculum Overview

This course gave me the opportunity to study automotive engineering, So I selected this course. Faculties are sort of intelligent ones who have expertise in their fields. Exams are difficult but if you are regular in classes you will achieve good marks.

Internships Opportunities

Tata Motors give good internship and Amazon, Meesho, unity, and many more companies come to this college. If Somebody wants to do an internship from the first year, they will get but have to work much harder. From the 6th sem college itself provides internships.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, everybody is able to sit in campus placement. And many companies visit on a regular basis and offers are very much appreciative. And all branches have good number of placements and it is 97%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are costly but if your income is less than 5 lac/annum you will get remission 2/3rd of Remission. And if less than 1lac/annum you will get 100% remission. For SC/ST 100% fee remission. Many scholarships are there and the campus has good internship opportunities.

Campus Life

Culfest organizes every year and Ojass techno fest happens every year. A sports fest named Urja is held every year. All branches have their societies respective. And the library has all the books if somebody wants he/she can take them but must be very punctual.

Hostel Facilities

There will be 2 people accommodation in one room for the first year and from the second year onwards you will get a single room. The meal is average and the hostel canteen is very good. And have one common room in a very corridor.

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

You have to secure at least 95 percentile in the JEE mains examination for general candidates. If anybody wants to get admission he/she must be strong their maths, physics, and chemistry, moreover, dedication will lead to this type of college.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

i have applied for IITs but could not able to get beacuse of slightly lower ranks i didnt get rejection from other colleges as got admission throughJOSSA in NIT jamshedpur admission is solely done through JOSSA . one must take JEE MAINS first then must have a good CRL 0f LIKE 10000 TO 15000 for general category of other state if you are from jahrkhand you can get in lower rank too like 20000 crl rank if you are a general student else it might get lower for the othe category depending upon your category...Read More

Raw and real side of NIT JSR

One of the biggest reason for me to choose this college was, it is the best college with the best average package that I can get on my rank. And it was very affordable for me and I was getting a circuital Branch so it was very easy for me to choose this. The admission process was very smooth you first have to apply for Jossa counselling and in that you have to enter a lot of colleges and based on your rank you will allotted a college and after Jossa finished you also get chance to sit at CSAB counselling, after you get alloted this seat. I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat .
