Course Curriculum Overview
I chose electrical because I am interested in studying the electrical course and my parents also asked me to take it because it's a bridge course between core and software. The faculties here are like few of them quite good but few a not. All of the faculties here are PhD scholars. They teach well. Exams are held 4 times a semester 2 internals and mids and end semester exams. Exams will not be easy, one must practice a lot and study a lot to pass. Student and faculty ratio is also good and enough and for a few subjects visiting faculty from other branches are recruited.
Internships Opportunities
Microsoft, Amazon, and L&T are a few companies that give good internship opportunities and job facilities with decent packages every year. Internships in IT, data science, cs, ECE, EE are quite good and higher than those for chemical and biotech.
Placement Experience
Placements here are quite good. Almost 98 percent of students get placed every year. The highest package last year was about 88 lakhs and the lowest was about 3.6 lakhs. Sprinklers, Amazon.. and many more companies visited for placements. After I get a degree I want to study M tech or do a job with a decent salary.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for open and OBC students is 1,25,000 per year. For SC and ST there's no need to pay any tuition fee. They are an exception to it. Fee remission is available for students whose family annual income is less than 1 lakh and 1 to 5 lakhs. Education loan is also available to students who can't pay Fee.
Campus Life
There are many technical clubs like robotics, EA and ham club, space clubs, and non-technical like dance and dramatics, music, and cultural clubs. Also, there are NCC and NSS as well and the Youth Red Cross. Innovation garage for new ideas, quiz clubs, and many more. Tech fest named technozion is conducted in December and spring spree in March. The central library is so big and an abundant number of books are available. The classroom is big but it is quite hot. Physical activity for all first-year students twice a week is a must.
Hostel Facilities
Triple occupancy room for 1st year, it is sufficiently big for three. But the facilities are quite average. The menu of the mess is quite boring and tastes average. Sarojinj Ladies hostel is the hostel in which I stay in. The hostel fee is quite high.
Admission
The admission process was good. But the cut-offs were too high this time. I got a seat under the open general category. Students who cracked jee mains with a good score are eligible and and category of the student also plays a key role. Application forms, fees, and dates are found on NIT Warangal's official website. I don't have any reservations. I feel like the cut-off for open general Students could be a bit low so that students could get a better branch.
