Course Curriculum Overview

This course has good scope and has demand in the market and this course offers you a good package. The faculties of food technology are very experienced and very supportive. The faculties of our college have good experience and are well qualified and they teach us with full interest. The term exams are conducted from time to time and the level of difficulty is 8 out of 10 exams are quite difficult to pass but the level of education justifies the difficulty of exams.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are various companies that provide internships, they hired us for various projects. Millet-based food is one of the most common projects, most of companies hire students as interns for this project.

Placement Experience

From third year students are eligible for placement. The highest package from food technology is 23lpa given by Valancy International and the average package is 6.8lpa. 90% of students get placed. I want to start my own business in the food sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of this course is very affordable as compared to other colleges The annual fee is 135000. Central government scholarships and state government scholarships are available and the alumni association of our college also provide scholarship to students.

Campus Life

The fest organized in our college is Adhayay, Aarambh, and Technika. The availability of books and generals is good. All amenities are available for students in the classroom. The sports and extracurricular activities in our college are impressive. There are various groups and sub-councils that are run by students like ASCPC and PSMSC.

Hostel Facilities

The air-conditioned, proper ventilated, smartboards, wifi, good furniture, and spacious. The library is good, with a good number of books. Meals are good, and diversified menus in their hostels, they are affordable, and registration is done on the official HBTU website. Swaroop Nagar and Nawab Ganj are good localities for pg.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

The eligibility for the food technology course in hbtu Kanpur is at least you have scored jee rank under 1lakh You can find the application form on the official website of hbtu. If you have any reservations you can easily get into this branch. The admission process of our college is very easy to go to the official website and register for counseling.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
