Course Curriculum Overview

Versatile and rapidly growing course. A lot of qualified faculties are present. HBTU faculties are renowned faculties in society. The faculties are Ph.D.s in their respective fields from IITs. The teaching is very nice. Monthly exams are there.

Internships are necessary in order to get a good placement. The students get internships based on their skills. There are various branches in college and we have internships respective to their fields, and branches.

From seventh-semester students are eligible for placements. A lot of offers and companies come to college for placement. A Good percentage of students are getting placed. To get placed and settled is my aim.

Fees and Financial Aid

135000 for first year and 127500 for second year. The top three rankers in the first year get scholarships from the university. The financial assistance is provided in the form of admission in the tuition fee waiver category.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is good to go. An annual fest like Technica, Adhyaay, and Aagaj are there. Books and journals are easily available in the library. The classrooms are good. Sports activities are also there. Many clubs are there.

Hostel Facilities

A table, chair, bed, cupboard, and lights are provided. The hostel's infrastructure is very good. All facilities are present. The hostel is affordable and registration is online. Rooms are available in nawabgang.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Admission is through JEE mains exam. The admission process is very smooth. The form can be found on the college website easily. The application fee is for counselling which is minimal. The application dates are updated on the website. No improvement is required, absolutely great experience.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
