Likes

The food in our college is very much healthy and I like it so much.
The hostel are the other things or palace which I love and it such a peaceful campus and greenery which is spread over many acres in Chennai.
The whether and the atmosphere in the surrounding of of my College.

Dislikes

The thing that I don't like the musqitoes in nearby the hostel.
Bathing water is not so good as some of my friends are getting rashes.
The mess is some what far from my class room and hostel room.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is on par with IITs and NITs. They follow the same curriculum for all the campuses of the Amrita located in different palaces in India. The faculty and students ratio may be around 2:5. The faculties are very highly qualified and educated. The exams are conducted strictly according to the timetable and it's difficult to pass if you missed any class.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 400000, The fee structure is based on the slab alloted in the counseling to the students. The fee has to be paid at a time, i.e. one-time payment for a year. The campus placements are decent and are recruited in very good companies.

Campus Life

Many fests are being conducted in our college. One of them is the Onam Sadhia. This is one the best fest in our college. There are also other tech fests like Cybernation, etc. The library is very large and contains various books that help students to gain knowledge. They conduct inter-college competitions and encourage the students to participate. There are many clubs in the college that are being managed by a Student coordinator. The various clubs are trinetra for photography, etc.

Admission

The admission process is through an exam conducted by the college. The exam is AIEEE which is based on the 12th syllabus. The eligibility is the minimum pass percentage in the 12th. No reservations are applicable for the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Amrita and its Dubbing voice

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. I couldnt get vit because of high rank, in cuet exam i got seat at pondicherry university. but still chose amrita for its reputation, infrastructure, and curriculum. first you should attend an entrance examination called AEEE escpecially for amrita vishwa vidhyapeetham, which has 2 phases. after both phases you get placed in a ranking system. for each range of ranks each department holds a rank exceptancy of the entrance participants. other than AEEE you can also get throw using JEE marks...Read More

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
