Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I am into computers and technology so much. The facilities are really very good and friendly. Also, the Faculty: Student ratio is good. Every faculty is a Ph.D. and their way of teaching is impressive and makes most of the topics easy to understand. There are three internal exams before the semester-end exam. The internal exams are not very tough and not very easy. If you have good knowledge of the subject then it is easy to pass and score good marks.
Internships Opportunities
I don't have any specific information regarding the internships as I'm a fresher but as far as I heard the college provides internships from the second year onwards and the stipend depends on the roles offered.
Placement Experience
I don't know much about the placements because i'm a fresher but as far as i heard the average package is 10 lakhs and maximum is around 40 lakhs. Many companies visit the campus and many offers are made every year . For more information check the official website of SRM where you can get all the data of the placement. After degree completion , if i don't get placement then most probably i'll go for masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition Fees for CSE CORE is 3 lakhs per year. To get more information visit the official site of SRM. I dont know much about scholarships and financial aid but there is a scholarship policy that is given on the basis of your CGPA.
Campus Life
There are so many events happening throughout the year. Almost 2 events happen every month. Campus life is really good but sometimes it becomes boring too. I dont know about the annual fest because I'm in the first semester but I think it happens in April or May. Every necessary amenities that is required in a classroom is available. The library is really and most of the books are available there. There are so many clubs.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good and it is fun actually. My hostel fee is around 1 lakh 50 thousand for a double sharing nonac room and laundry and gym included. Mess food is good and eatable. The hostel registration process is easy. You only need a few documents for the registration.
Admission
I took an entrance exam called SRMJEEE which is for admission to all the branches of SRM. On the basis of your rank, you opt for your course and branch of SRM. There are three phases of the exam so you have three chances to clear the exam. The application form is easily available on the website of SRM. The admission process is smooth because most of the things are online.
