- There is limited number of fests compared to other colleges.
- There are many restrictions and Strictness in college campus and in hostels.
- Attendance criteria is 75% which gives students less time to work on themselves.
Course Curriculum Overview
1. Btech is a professional course that offers a wide range of opportunities and provides better placements. Since CSE has a lot of scope in the future that is why I chose this course. 2. Faculty here are good and helpful. One can freely ask any doubts related to college and subject. 3. Many faculties have graduated from renowned institutes like IITs, and NITs and have many years of experience. 4. In the first year there are 2-3 sessional tests before the final exams. Exams are easy to pass if studied carefully and honestly.
Internships Opportunities
There are various companies such as TCS, and Wipro that offers internship with good stipend. Last year some of our college students got internships in Microsoft with a stipend of up to 1 lakh per month. Not all are given such opportunities only those who are capable are given this.
Placement Experience
1. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester and for internships from the 5th semester. 2. Companies such as TCS, Wipro, and HCL which are mass recruiters take Students in bulk. Product Companies such as Amazon offer a great package of 44 lpa to some students. 3. 85-90% of students are placed with good salary packages. 4. After completion of my graduation I would go for a job in a product-based company such as Microsoft which is also my dream company and may also think of a startup in the future.
Fees and Financial Aid
1. In the first year Btech fees are approximately 1.5 lakh and 1.4 lakh for the rest consecutive years. 2. There are various scholarships provided to first-year students such as national-level scholarships, and state-level scholarships. Also if one wants to avail it in 2nd year he can do so.
Campus Life
1. There is a fresher's party that is conducted after 1 month from the admission of freshers. Fests here are less compared to other colleges. 2. The library is great with good infrastructure and books are available in bulk. One can read whatever he wants. Different genres of books are available. 3. Sports and extracurricular activities are done on a regular basis and provide opportunities for students to participate in them.
Admission
1. Admission is done on the basis of either JEE Mains rank or 12th merit. 2. For more information related to admission you can visit the college's official website. 3. There is some sort of reservation benefits also. 4. Admission done on the 12th based merit should be more systematic and the cutoff should be less.
