One of the best colleges in mysuru

The course is good we have 8 subs together for the c cycle. out of which 5 are main and 3 subs are 1 credit score each. we have internals only for 5 subs and rest 3 are of the quiz. The CGPA is calculated using 3 types 1 is the CIE- class internal examination which will be conducted twice in one semester for 25 marks and another 50 per cent is taken by SEE (sem end exam) which will be for 100 And lastly by quiz which will of 10 marks and 2 times. over all together they combine this and give SEE results As for the teachers, they are friendly and guiding, some might be strict but no beating has happened so far and our college is strictly against bullying, police people had conducted a seminar sort in the first few days about how bullying would be scary and that they could have a case filed on them so no bullying.

Students are eligible for placements from 3rd year to 4th year. The highest package for CS is 48 lakhs And average is 13 lakhs The highest for ISE is 33 lakhs And average is 13 lakhs The college placements are good with many companies visiting

The college overall fee is 110000(1 lakh 10k) For SC and st there is a scholarship called SSP provided by the government which waives of tution the rest of the fee(46200) we have to pay SSP can be availed by obc too but the amount given to them is low compared to SC and st Nsp scholarship is provided for minorities The college also provides scholarships for merit students

The campus is big but has only two buildings one is for teaching and another one is full of labs We have a library too in another building We have a canteen with good food and a bakery too. As the college is a new one (nie it) which was merged with nie(1947) and became nie north now it has acquired autonomous status and has the main branches now (like cs is and cs in aiml) There are many clubs and events that take place all the events and clubs events take place at south campus Nie conducts a three-fest yearly which is very famous. Our college also has extracurricular activities in sports.

The admission process to Nie is of 3 types 1.through kcet(competitive exam) 2. through comedk (competitive exam but fee will be high for engineering) 3. Management quota The Nie College has two campuses now, Nie North for software branches (which was NIE-it(in 2021) and Nie South for hardware branches only This college comes under the top 10 Cutoff varies from starting from 7k for general in the first round for CS and ending with 13.5k in the last round, for SC and ST. it's around 25k for CS and 35k for ISE.
