Course Curriculum Overview

I chose AI because I love the work being done in this field. We dont need a domain for AI to enter it is literally in every field. Where there is data and a problem there AI can be implemented seamlessly. The faculty here is great all of them well qualified and knowledgeable for this branch. Teaching is also great. All the faculty are PhD and research scholars perfect for this field.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If the exam is performed well and a student tops in the exam the fee is very low in slab one starting from 90k-2lakh and as the slabs go down fee can go up to 7lakh. No campus jobs.

Campus Life

Campus life is peaceful. A simple down-to-earth lifestyle is tried to inculcate in students here with no AC rooms and classic veg food with no spices even in canteens food you find is simple with no complicated and lavish dishes. A huge library with n number of books and even assess to big big online libs along with research repositories is given. For classroom and study-related equipment, I would rate 100/100, the rest coding clubs and stuff are average. Sports is below-average

Hostel Facilities

Basic room with cots and almaras provided no AC. We have to clean out own room which sucks again. Food here is bad very bad. Rented accommodation would cost more or less a little more then the hostel fee but we can good food. Non vegetarian is not allowed and available in this campus so that is also a challenge.

Admission

We had an exam. The application is online and the cutoff wasn't released. But for sure an easy exam compared to any other competitive exams. Eligibility to appear is aggregate of math physics and chemistry should be above 90 along with minimum marks in English

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. I couldnt get vit because of high rank, in cuet exam i got seat at pondicherry university. but still chose amrita for its reputation, infrastructure, and curriculum. first you should attend an entrance examination called AEEE escpecially for amrita vishwa vidhyapeetham, which has 2 phases. after both phases you get placed in a ranking system. for each range of ranks each department holds a rank exceptancy of the entrance participants. other than AEEE you can also get throw using JEE marks...Read More

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
