life in amrita

I have chosen this course because it is a multidisciplinary course, this course consists of a communication engineering and computer engineering syllabus but the communication syllabus weightage is greater than a computer, the total faculty there for this course are 19 senior faculties and 25 assistant professors, the qualifications of all the professors are Ph.D., the teaching methods are pretty good, the first periodical is conducted for one month and there are two periodical and one final exams, the difficulty of exams are moderate but the correction process is hard, hard to get high cgpa.

The companies that came for internships are Microsoft, Wipro, and Sysco, they also see the projects done by the students in previous semesters, and the faculty is very supportive of encouraging new projects, they also give new ideas to improve the project.

The placement is good on this campus, the highest package in this University was 60lpa last year, from 6th sem we are eligible to attend the placements, companies visited Amrita are cap Gemini, Microsoft, caterpillar, Sysco, and Wipro, the average package is 8lpa,70 percentage of students in placements got jobs, as now in am in the second year my plan is to get a good job next year.

The fee structure is totally based on the AEEE exam which is the Amrita entrance exam, for my rank I have got the third fee slab which is 250000 there are no other ways to get a scholarship, the only way to get a free low is to get good rank in AEEE, there will be a hike in the fee of we fail to score minimum cgpa, the min cgpa is 7.0 for maintaining the fee slab got for us, the fee is less compared to other top colleges.

The life is the campus is good, they take us in the way of spirituality, and they believe in the main chancellor, Mata Amritanandamayi, she is the founder of the university they teach us the words of amma, which are very useful in the outside life, there ways of teaching is unique they teach in a manner that, our study must be useful for others in need, tech fests are frequently conducted, which are very useful for our knowledge gaining, almost all books are available in the main library.

The facilities provided in the hostel are quite less, the hostel is not maintained properly, in the room there are four fans and four beds, and 4 charging sockets and 2 lights and a window, the meal is not good because here in this campus they use fewer spices , the registration process for a hostel in done in online portal provided by the management, there is no proper locality to stay near campus, so the student should be chosen hostel.

There is an entrance exam for joining the college, they will conduct an entrance exam called the AEEE exam, and I have secured a rank of 15000,the exams are written in the exam centers, but the counseling process is totally online ,the application fee for this college is 1200.for my rank I have got CCE branch that is computer and communication engineering,this is multidisciplinary course.
