Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course over other courses as I had an interest in computer science and now after 2 years in college, I think I made the right decision. Faculty: student ratio is 1:12. The faculties are highly qualified with minimum qualification - Ph.D. Most of them have graduated from the top universities abroad. The academic calendar is scheduled for the whole year. The exams are medium. It's easy to pass if we study the basics.
Internships Opportunities
The placement percentage of NIT Delhi increased by 24.52 %. Companies like IBM, Microsoft, Cognizant, Salesforce, Adobe, Code Nation, Delhivery, and many more visit our campus to provide internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester for the BTech course and the 3rd semester for the Mtech Course. Last year the highest package bagged was 88 LPA with the average package being 15LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is according to the income of the student's family. It's all available on the official site of NIT Delhi. There are various scholarships that needy students can avail. Students get notified about scholarships through emails. Some of the scholarships are NSP, Swami Dayanand, Shaman, and many more.
Campus Life
Many fests are conducted throughout the year and we have a number of Clubs on campus. Also, the classroom and labs are equipped with state of art facilities. Also, there is a central library with more than 100000 books. Sports meetings are conducted on the campus. Students also participate in other tournaments such as INTER-NIT.
Hostel Facilities
We are providing a hostel with 4 sharing rooms and there is no option for any other sharing available at this time. The mess food provided is also not up to the proper standards. The room provided is well-equipped with all the necessary equipment.
Admission
I gave JEE MAINS 2021 and qualified it with 99 percentile. Then I had to go through JOSAA counseling and secured NIT Delhi, Cse in 2nd round. You have to appear in the Jee Mains examination for admission. The admission process was smooth. I don't think I want to see any improvement in the admission process.
Interview Experience
The only way for admission to BTECH is through JOSAA Or CSAB counselling which offers seats based on ranks in the JEE Mains examination. Then there will be physical verification for the verification of the documents and certificates. I prepared for JEE MAINS during my 11th and 12th standard.
