Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course for its high placement record, high faculty-student ratio, and ample opportunities. All of the faculty are highly qualified though you will need to face some strict teachers who are boring and all. Exams are conducted twice in a semester and they are quite easy to pass, exceptions are there.
Internships Opportunities
Goldman Sachs Internship- 1 Lakh per month. They are very selective in internships, they offer just 2-3 students internships from the whole batch. Trilogy- 75K per month. Its test was too tough only people with good CP can crack it. Flipkart- 1 Lakh per month.
Placement Experience
Students can sit for internships by the college from the 5th sem and for placements by the 7th sem. The highest package is 60LPA and the average is around 15LPA this year. Due to the recession this year, some of the students haven't placed till now, otherwise, placement ends by now. The placement % for last year was around 95% for all branches combined.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no such thing as a fee hike it's a govt college, and you will get a scholarship too once you will get admission and your income category is below 5LPA. Moreover, you can get more scholarships from private companies as well. We have a Scholarship Cell for that.
Campus Life
We have a Fest in the Spring Season every Year, it's decent for a college like NIT Delhi. It's not as big and grand as DTU but you will enjoy it surely. NIT Delhi has a library with all modern facilities, college campus is okaish as well.
Hostel Facilities
In hostel, we have to share our room with 4 other students. Yes, you read it right 5 students in a single room, by the way, that room is spacious and can accommodate all of our language, almirah, study table, and chairs. The hostel is quite affordable with fees of 18K for 1 semester.
Admission
You must have done your class 12th with PCM Stream in the past three years and secured a decent rank in JEE. For general rank CSE: below 10K, ECE: around 15K, EEE: 20-25K. You will need to apply to this college via JOSAA counseling, the application fee was around 1500 at our time, and its dates will be around August or just after JEE Advanced. You will get all the possible reservation benefits for which you are applicable as per gov norms. Admissions should be done faster and should be less complex.
