Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because at school, I have a keen interest in electronics instruments so I want to learn more about electronics instruments that's why I chose the ECE course. Faculty to student ratio is 1:60 All the teachers are highly qualified, and all teachers have done their phd from esteemed colleges such as IITs and various foreign colleges. Their teacher method is very good, they teach every topic with patience and explain very beautifully. Teachers have a lot of knowledge about their subject also mentor students. Exams were held timely in one semester there are two exams: mid-term and full-term. There is a gap of 2 months for every exam held. The difficulty level is moderate and easy to pass if we just study teachers' notes.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Various Internship opportunities are available in our college. First, there is 6 month internship for the 4th year students and big companies that visit our college mainly are Adobe, amazon, Microsoft, google etc and they give a hefty stipend of around 1 lakh per month and above. Most of the students get their PPO converted and also get high ctc also Second, there is 2 month internship for the 3rd year students and the companies that visit our college for 2 month is Microsoft , Google, Amazon, Adobe, Goldmann Sachs etc with a competitive stipend of 1 lakh per month

Placement Experience

4.5

Students from the 7th semester become eligible for campus placements Samsung visited our college and gave 24 offers to students which is very impressive. The highest package is 81 lpa and the average package is 18 lpa and profile they offered mainly is SDE. 100 percentage of students getting placed in out college I have planed to open a startup after getting my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is very affordable, for one semester my fee is around 40,000/- that is very affordable for most middle-class families that live in India. There is an opportunity for scholarships for some particular students who are eligible. I didn't get any scholarship or financial assistance from the college and since I have just started 3rd I haven't gotten any job from the campus right now.

Campus Life

4

The annual fest is sentience which is held in September. The tech fest is Techphoria which is held in the month of may for tech enthusiasts. The sports fest is the zeal which is held in April for sports enthusiasts. There is a large collection of books and journals available in our library for the students There are so many clubs for the students so that they can enhance their extracurricular activities example clairoyance and GDSC etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Facilities provided in the room is AC , Table , Chair , Almirah and Bed for each student resident in the hostel Meal quality is not very good in mess but menu is good since it contains variety of items Reistration process for the hostel is very simple , we just have to fill the hsotel registration form , and hostel is very affordable at price of 36000/- per year .

Admission

The admission process for the NIT Delhi was through Jossa counselling. First I took Jee Mains which is held every year for the selection of students for the NIT, IIIT etc colleges. Second, we Have to cross the cut-off percentage of Jee mains which in my case was 87 percentile. After that, we have to give orders to colleges along with the stream to jossa councelling and after, we clear the college cut-off we can get admission to that college. Eligibility For Jee mains Any student who passes 12th with a minimum of 75% qualifies for Jee mains. The application form is available on the jossa website and the application fee is 800/-. Dates vary from year to year

Other Applied Colleges

National Institute of Technology - [NIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

I didn't kurushetra because nit delhi is new nit so chance for growth in my tech career is much higher as compared to old nit . There are less number of students in nit delhi as compared to nit kurukshetra so there are ample opportunities for me in nit de

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
