Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties are very friendly with the students but a little strict in terms of academics. Teachers here are highly professional and have experience in IITs and international universities. The ratio is like 1:30. A teacher for 30 students.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are good here. Seniors and faculty provide and suggest to us many internships and help us to grow with them. From the start of the college, we can take the internships if we perform well.

Placement Experience

There will be a separate placement cell named CIR every student will be trained from the start to attend placements. Many companies visit every year approx 400 companies visit every year. Placements start from the 3rd year itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee here is a bit high compared to other colleges. The total fee without a scholarship is 450000. There will be 3 fee slabs according to the rank the student got. (i.e., 250000, 300000, 350000 Lakhs) per annum and the hostel fee is separate.

Campus Life

Campus life is another fabulous one here. Many fests, flashmobs, and tech fests will be conducted. Every festival will be celebrated in all the states. There will be 2 major fests named Anokha and Gokulastami. The books are there in the college library.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good and should be a little disappointing compared to other colleges. As this was an old college. They provide 4 sharing and single rooms. No AC will be provided as the climate is cool here and food is too hygienic and no non-veg will be served.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

I wrote the AEEE entrance exam. it will be conducted in 2 attempts. One should get the eligible rank according to the branch and campus he opts for. I got 90 ranks in AEEE to attempt 2. So, I took AI in the Coimbatore campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Amrita and its Dubbing voice

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. I couldnt get vit because of high rank, in cuet exam i got seat at pondicherry university. but still chose amrita for its reputation, infrastructure, and curriculum. first you should attend an entrance examination called AEEE escpecially for amrita vishwa vidhyapeetham, which has 2 phases. after both phases you get placed in a ranking system. for each range of ranks each department holds a rank exceptancy of the entrance participants. other than AEEE you can also get throw using JEE marks...Read More

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
