Likes
- Sports facilities I liked very much. Recently new badmisntion ,basketball,vollyball and tennis courts have been installed.
- Library: Almost all books related to course are available and we can issue then anytime during the course.
- Placements: Placements have increased after new campus is built.
Dislikes
- Lack of cultural activities and tech events also.
- Location: as the college is in the outercuts of Delhi so less facilities that can be available in marketsm
- Connectivity issue as metro is not available in our area. We have to travel thought DTC busses.
Course Curriculum Overview
To be honest I got this course just because of my rank. I chose this college because of the Delhi factor. Faculty to student ratio is 60:1 for a class. All the faculty members are qualified enough and are from prestigious colleges in India. There are mid-semester and end-semester exams and the level is moderate.
Placement Experience
College placements are good as there is less competition and location is a good advantage. However, the strength of students is increasing now so the average may drop a little bit. Last year's average was 17 lpa which is quite good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee structure is of three types considering the annual income of the family of students. There are three classes, the first is below 1 lakh, the second is from 1 lakh to 5 lakhs and the third and last class is above 5 lakh. Various scholarships are available based on category and income.
Campus Life
There is rarely any fest in college and the fest is on a very small scale just a few dances and dramas. Sports events are quite good and held on the campus. Almost every sports facility is available on the college premises. There are few clubs in college out of which 2 or 3 are working. The library is decent with good stocks of books.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are very good in college. You can avail ac or non-AC rooms at your convenience. Other state students are preferred over home-state students if there is any lack of hostel rooms. 1-year boys stay in the old campus of our college and all other students have a hostel on the permanent campus itself.
Admission
I cleared jee mains and according to my rank, I got electrical and electronics branch with general quota. You can get a better branch if you are from your home state or any category quota. During my admission process, there were only three branches but now 3 more branches are introduced.
