- The classes are near to the hostel so it is easy to reach there.
- The connectivity and transportation to the main delhi area is upto mark.
Dislikes
- The college is situated in the outer part and the area is not developed also having proper transportation system it will take one hour to reach new delhi.
- The in time for girls is 9:30 and for boys it is 9:45 which is not appreciable. Also mess food is of poor quality. Also There are 5 students in a room which is quit irritating as everybody has there own timings.
- The campus is in under development phase so we are not able to experience a fully developed campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of my interest in electrical engineering. The student ratio of the college is 1:6 of girls to boys. The faculty is well qualified with much teaching experience, the faculty members use digital boards, PPTs, and conventional methods to explain the topics as per the demand of the topic. There are mainly mid-term exams and end-term exams, and in between there are class tests and vivas. The difficulty level is moderate and if you study well it will be not so hard to get past. There is a relative grading system so it's hard to get a good CGPA though.
Internships Opportunities
There are not many more companies visiting our college for an internship but our college provides the time to-time information regarding internships through mail. Although there are some companies visited but most of the companies hired in off-campus mode and pools. For example Flipkart, zomato, Goldman Sachs, etc. The role is for SDE intern.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for the placements from the seventh semester onwards. The number of companies is quite good and also no. of offers made is also quite good. There are a lot of companies visiting our colleges such as Samsung and RandD, airtel, Atlassian Convergences, pinefocon, tachyon, and many more. Also, the offers made are good but I don't know the exact no. as I'm not in a TnP cell so not aware of that. For our branch, the highest package was 8300000 in Atlassiun and the average package was 1700000. The percentage is approx. 94% with some students who are not sitting in the process because of their other plans. My plan is to get a good package in tech tech-based company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is such that there are three categories in which you can opt according to your annual income, the first one is below one lakh, the second one is between two to five lakhs and the third category is above five lakhs. You can pay fees using online modes of transaction such as UPI, debit card, credit card, or NEFT\RTGS. The fee payment method is quite good and reliable. There are scholarships according to your annual income called NSP scholarships provided by the government also there are lots of scholarship opportunities provided by different NGOs for the required students. The college does not provide such financial assistance. During the time of placement, there are lots of companies visiting colleges such as Samsung, Samsung, RandD, airtel, convergences, pinefocone, etc.
Campus Life
There are fests going on during the year. The different clubs organize fests and other activities during the semester for example ANVESHNA, ANVESHNA 2.0, JASHN E DANDIYA, SANTIENCE. Other than the fests and all our TnP cells organise talks by experts in different fields for example once the CEO of gfg visits our college. The central library is not that big but provides all the books required for your semester and also provides facilities such as AC, wifi, etc. The sports club is the most active club in the college. There are lots of events going on and students daily practices with the respective coaches of every sport. Due to the lack of space and development, there are courts for every sport.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are of the best qualities provided by any government institute. There are two options AC or NON AC rooms. The fee for an AC room is 10000 more than the non-AC room (28000). The non-ac rooms contain two fans, 5 beds, tables, and chairs pair, and bathrooms for two rooms separate. The registration of the hostel can be done along with the course registration so don't worry about that also according to the Delhi factor it is quite affordable. The locality is not that good but still due to the best transportation you can take a rented room or PG nearby.
Admission
The students who are to opt for the course have to clear the JEE MAINS exam with a rank to clear the cutoff for the same. The JEE MAINS is the only exam for the BTech courses. You can find the application form on the website for JEE MAINS. For more details regarding the fee structure, reservation criteria, and application date you have to visit the website. I think the admission process is quite simple and for more information, you can visit NIT DELHI's official website.
