Course Curriculum Overview
The course I choose(CSE) has a very great scope in the future and it is certainly our college's best branch. The course curriculum is on a somewhat harder level than other universities as it follows the IIT Kanpur curriculum. Faculties are certainly supportive. Most of them are from IITs and have a great knowledge. Talking about the exams, yes, they are not like a simple cake walk but If you are even a little bit serious you can do great
Internships Opportunities
Internships are good here. The college provides you with full support for the internship. Many companies come here for internships and you are generally eligible for internships in 3rd year. Our training and placement cell is very good in that. Definitely, this college will provide you with ample opportunity and it is up to you how much you can grab it.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester i.e. 4th year a student is eligible for placement (not considering internship). Many companies visited on our campus. You can find the whole list on our placement website companies like BNY Mellon, media.net, and Microsoft. The highest package in 2023 was 54lpa and the average was 14.2lpa percentage of students was 91%. My plan is pretty simple and it is to get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike is around 10% yearly. As previously mentioned fee is 5.5lpa this year and it will yearly increase. There are plenty of scholarships that are given to needy students based on merit and financial condition You can easily find them on the respective websites but finding a scholarship is not that easy task here.
Campus Life
We have our annual fest, vivacity and Tech Fest is Plinth. The fest we have are awesome and they are generally held in the months of January and February. Our library is great it has too many journals and all the required things you have Obviously a library can't have all books but our library has enough books. The classrooms are well equipped. Sports are pretty serious here and there are lots of clubs and extracurricular activities Social clubs are like Sankalp, we have one for dance music and probably for everything you could imagine.
Hostel Facilities
We are currently in a 3 seater room and we will be shifted to a 2 seater room in next semester (It was due to overcrowding) rooms are good. Mess is pretty good compared to other colleges. Our menu has a variety of foods and it regularly changes to meet the demands of students. The hostel is affordable and the registration process is pretty decent.
Admission
Admission is based on the JEE exam. it is generally based on JEE mains rank. The cutoff for Cse was around 96.5%ile+ and for college, it was around 91%ile. Application forms can be found on lnmiit official website application fees in 2000 rupees application dates are announced after the mains exam. The college does not offer any reservations, the admission is purely based on your JEE scorecard. The admission process is smooth and in my opinion, there is no need for any improvement.
