- Campus is only of 7.5 acres which is very small.
- Majority of them speak Kannada, so if you are coming learn it.
- Attendance is 85% must which is very tough to maintain.
Course Curriculum Overview
Infromation Science is the best course in my college according to placements stats.Student faculty ratio is good.Almost all of the faculties are doctorate degree holders,so thats quite good for the students.They teach in English which is good for the outside students(non karnataka students).Exams are conducted on time and the questions are not so difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is provided to many students in CSE who are from related branches.The roles are various depending upon the company like finance ,IT,sales ,advertisment .PPO is also given to those students from the companies.
Placement Experience
The students get placed from 6th semester.Lots of companies come for placements every year like amazon,jp morgan,etc. But maximum students gets placed in mass recruiting companies.Around 600 offers are made every year.The highest package is given by japanese company which is 36 lakhs per annum to a ISE student.Almost all ISE students gets placed in companies.I plan to get placed .
Fees and Financial Aid
So ,I came through Comedk i.e. my tuition fees is 264000 per year and they take 27000 per year for skill lab.There are scholarships for karnataka students.Fees also gets increased every year.They also exam fees separately every semester.
Campus Life
There is not any particular good fest going on.Sometimes food festival is organized by the students.There is very little sports activities.There is only one basketball court in which students play whatever they want.There is cultural club named ANTARGANI which is run by students and handles all the extra curicular activities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel provides 3 sharing room for every student.A bed is provided with a study table and a chair.Meal quality is ok ok.The hostel fees is 157000 for 1 working year .PG is a far better option which takes around 100000 per year.
Admission
Admission process was done smoothly.You should have 45% in class 12 in PCM or PCMB.Application fees is around 2000 and the form comes in March or early April.There is reservation for HKR region.Fees should be reduced for Comed-K students who are coming to study from outside the state.
