Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my interest. The faculty-student ratio is 1:20. All the faculty have completed Msc Nursing and the teaching method are lecture cum discussion, clinical teaching and demonstration. We have 3 sessional exams each year.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 91500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee structure is 91500. I am receiving an E-grants scholarship of 91500 each year. In this 80000 is paid as the college fee and 11500 is the allowance throughout the year. Every year at the opening of academics I am receiving the amount correctly.

Campus Life

Every year we conduct onam and Christmas celebrations along with college day, freshers day, lamplighting ceremony, convocation and other extracurricular activities such as college fest, sports meet etc.

Admission

I have passed Higher secondary level education in biology and science and applied for a government seat via LBS. The application form was found on the LBS site, and I got the seat through a reservation benefit and I am receiving an e-grant scholarship.

Placement Experience:

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

Remarks:

Positive remarks are the college is situated at the Malampuzha and the Malampuzha is one of the best spot in Palakkad. Nature beauty is perfectly induced here. Calm and Quiet area. We can walk through the road which the two sides are well arranged with the Trees. Negative remarks are no college ground. We need to play on irrigation dept ground or Navodaya vidyalaya group.

I had no reservation benefits as I belongs to General Category. This takes longer time to call the allotments. And There is differences with the category.
